There was a thread started yesterday titled something along the lines of "how to make mommy friends". I think you should read it. Now.
Maybe someone will be nice enough to post the link in here since I'm mobile. If not, it's probably on the second page of threads.
Thanks.

Re: @fucahwe
I think everyone has a right o do what they think is best for their family without having to explain their reasons to anyone. "bc I love my baby" is good enough for me. Even if I disagree. It suggests that you do it bc you think it's best, and you do what you think is best "bc you love your baby". I tend not to be the sensitive type, though. Maybe it's just me.
You really have a lot of free time on your hands today to start arguments don't you. *sigh* maybe you should take up knitting
Literally spit out my water laughing when I saw this.
I'm sure you've got SOOOO much to do today so why don't you get going?

I tried. I suck at it. But I was just saying that I'm not sensitive to peoples words bc I try to see past them and understand the meaning. If thats argumentative....I give up. Lol
Ok...I listed the things I do bc I was stating that in my personal experience, it's harder to be a working mom than a sahm. Not that I'm better for doing either. I'm actually considering going back to being a sahm for a couple of years after #4 is born, so im obviously not judging. And I didn't say you all were overreacting, that would be judgemental. You react how you see fit. I do think a few of the comments were over sensitive, but if thats you, run with it. No, I said nothing wrong. My intentions were to explain my experience both ways and why I feel the way I do. I may become a sahm mom again soon and I stand may my opinion that it's harder working and doing both jobs. I'm actually looking forward to the break......
There you go being degrading again. It's not a break, it's a job. Maybe for you it'll be a break from oh, so, so, soooooo taxing life but for the rest of us that give a shit its a job. Maybe it's best you don't talk...you seem to insert your foot into your mouth quite a bit
The girls and make it to practice pn time. All a big break. I'll get to paint my porch, organize my arts and crafts closet, things I normally have to wait for vacation to do. That doesn't sound like a break to you? I'm actually excited!

No again you sound like an asshole. Do you know how gracefully say..."I'm sorry I didn't mean it to sound the way it did, compared to how I am feeling now, it will feel a lot different and easier for me when I become a stay at home mom" rather than being a complete and utter douche? Seriously I'm not splitting hairs anymore you sound like a douche asshole and you need to cut it out. Think about what you say, before you say it.
It's not cool to come into a room full of women and list all of the things that make you awesome...ever.

What's wrong with crock pot meals?
Nothing. They are a lifesaver, my freezer is full of them. But I love to cook, and I'm running out of crock pot recipes to try.

Yeah... "They'll get over it" isn't a normal response to realizing you're offending others. Usually the response is "crap! I didn't know that sounded that way! I'm so sorry; that's not what I meant."
I don't stay up at night and stew over those who say stupid and offensive crap, but if I realize it's an ongoing thing for them, I avoid them like the plague. No one needs more idiots in their life.
Haha youre right. There are lots of reasons I suck. Get used to it
Already have.
