Sorry you had a bad commute yesterday @Serenla. I hear ya though. My commute to work is about 30 mins, home is any where between 40 - 50 mins. And if there is an accident, I might as well park and set up camp somewhere. Traffic Blows!
@MyFirstRaspberry it just sucks doesn't it?! I think they closed off an exit to Cambridge/the back bay and there was an accident so traffic was crawling, I ended up getting off the highway and cutting through Boston to save time lol. I still didn't get home until 7 pfffft.

My commute is awesome now but it used to be an hour each way. Living in the DC area that can be the norm. It was awful and even more terrible because the job was a life sucker.
Hope your commute goes smoothly the rest of the week Serenla!

When I worked in the Atlanta metro area, my commute was at least an hour, add in any accidents and I was screwed. Plus we lived in a very rural area, so there really weren't any good back road options. It wore on me so bad, and my job was terrible. The whole situation was not healthy. My hat goes off to those of you doing it every day. DH had an even further drive and was content as could be jamming to his music for hours. He is a much more patient person!
Once we made the decision to move, I got my job first, then we found an apartment that is five minutes away in rush hour. So thankful for that every day.

That sucks, the T is not the most efficient PT system.
Totally agree! The worst part is, I live 9 miles from my office. On the weekends, I could be here in less than 30m. But I am too close to be well-served by the commuter rail and too far out to be well-served by the subway.
I'd totally try to make it to the next GTG!

Boston commute suuuuucks. I used to live South Shore - forget it! It could take an hour and a half to drive 10 miles. Now I live in a pretty easy commuting spot, but the Callahan Tunnel is about to close for several months. That is going to be a bitch!

Questions for the check in: What did your T smell like today (this could also be a CP)? How many times did you have to stand by for a "schedule adjustment"? and On a scale of 1 to "checking the BD box on FF" just how violated was your personal space?
