  I was pretty disturbed by the whole breastfeeding my child thing, too. 

  
  

  My MIL  waved her hand and said "Oh, you know I'd never do that", but there was a huge smile on her face.

  
  

  This is from the woman who breastfed my BIL until he was a little older than three, and would have happily continued to if he hadn't embarrassed her in the middle of a church service by requesting out loud to "see her out in the parking lot" for a moment because he was "hungry".
