Dandruff anyone?

For the past week or so, I have had the worst dandruff. It's grossing me out and head and shoulders isn't really helping. Anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking it must be pregnancy related because I never have this issue normally (especially not during the summer!)

dx with anovulatory PCOS 2005
off bcp 11/11
a few rounds of clomid and femara... no response.
injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our little girl was born 12/30/13

surprise pregnancy with baby #2!  EDD: 8/30/16

    Um yeah.  I haven't tried any fixes yet but would like one!  I have all kinds of weird things going on with my skin...

    Yes!! Never had it before so must be pg relate. Tried head and shoulders and it hasn't worked. I'm now onto Tgel but going to speak with my Dr about it as its pretty gross.

    Tea tree oil shampoo!!! It has worked wonders for me, plus it doesn't have any yucky chemicals like some of the "dandruff shampoos" do.

    RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!)  medicated cycles 1 - 4 = BFN
    cycle 5 - metformin, femara 7.5mg, IUI #1, progesterone = BFP!!!
    beta #1 (13dpiui) 37, beta #2 (15dpiui) 104, u/s at 6w5d hb of 115♥

    Thanks @kristinfm. Will give that a try. Hopefully something I can get at a local drugstore. What do you do for conditioner?

    Do you live near a trader joe's? If so, give their "tea tree tingle" shampoo a try. I have been very happy with it. I used to use fairly expensive shampoo plus Tgel for dandruff/itchy scalp when needed. The tea tree shampoo is so much better than anything I've tried in the past. For conditioner, I've most recently been using Avalon organic lavender conditioner. It's ok, but not something I will buy again.

    Thanks - I'm up in Canada so unfortunately no Trader Joes :(. But next time I head down to the States, I'm definitely getting some!

    I rinse with about 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, water, and a drop or two of tea tree oil.
    Coconut oil left on your scalp works wonders too!
