My doctor said no honey. I haven't yet tried peanut butter, but only because she really doesn't care for bread and I haven't bothered to give it to her on anything else. I think strawberries are high allergy, but she has had those since around 6 months. I was nervous trying new things at first, but not so much anymore. I always have Bendryl on hand though.

We haven't been told about honey, but I always knew that was a no-no. I'll have to try strawberries sometime, we have Benedryl.
DD has had strawberries without issue but I think you are right about them being an "allergy" food. We still don't do honey or peanut butter...peanut butter I'm waiting on just because its not something we really eat often.

LO loves strawberries, I cant even remember when I gave them to her but I know it was a long time ago. She hasnt had any peanut items because I dont really see any need to give them to her yet, but she does drink almond/coconut milk. Other than that she hasnt directly had shellfish but I cant think of any thing else she hasnt eaten. Obv no honey yet, but again no need to give it to her. I use agave or maple syrup in baked goods.
I completely forgot strawberries were a high danger food till surety I have out to him. Thankfully no issues. He hasn't had honey. But now that he's 1 <:-P X_X I'm going to try sometime soon. He's allergic to pb fish and lactose intolerant

Charlotte has had strawberries. Yogurt seemed to be a problem for a while, but more recently it is fine.
DH is highly allergic to all nuts and legumes, so we are waiting on peanuts and other nuts (almonds, pecans, etc.) for quite some time. DH was also allergic to eggs as a kid. I keep meaning to give Charlotte egg yolks but I forget! She has had baked goods with eggs in them (i.e. waffles) with no problem, though.
I have a sensitivity to wheat, but that was never a concern with Charlotte. We have given her wheat products since probably 7 or 8 months.
My doc said no honey, nut products or shellfish. She said ti wait until 2 for peanuts, but i will probably try it when dd is one. The doctor never said anything about strawberries, and dd has been eating them since 7 months. I would just always keep benadryl on hand with any new foods.
Same as others: my pediatrician said no honey and of course no choking-hazard type foods (nuts, popcorn, etc.). We have been doing strawberries for a while because I had no clue they were a high-allergen food! We have also been doing peanut butter for a while because DH nor I have any food allergies. Koa LOVES PB&J's...and strawberries! :x
Everything else is fair game. I've been giving full variety, no holds barred, since about 7.5 months. LO has had fish, shellfish, strawberries, citrus, peanut butter, almond butter, etc.
DD first tried strawberries maybe a month ago if that. We just gave her a taste of pb the other day. DSS is highly allergic to shellfish so I am waiting on that for a bit longer. She has had other seafood though. No honey. She has eaten plenty of foods with eggs in them but eggs all by themselves make her throw up every time (we tried three times)... which I will bring up to her pedi at her one year appt. Until then, no more scrambled eggs.
I don't think LO has had many strawberries. I always thought they were a high allergy food, but we may try them soon since he's almost 1. Pedi said no honey until 1 year old. Also, no peanut butter until 2. Not that either of us have any food allergies, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

We were told no honey, nuts, citrus, berries, shellfish until 1 but to wait until 2 for peanut butter. J hasn't had strawberries but she loves blueberries and raspberries.
Also...J had some sort of allergic reacting to some flowers and she was sneezing like crazy, red eyes, runny nose and when I asked the Pharmacist (because it was a Sunday, I was told don't use Benedryl because Dr's don't like the risk on infants respritory and nervous systems. I bought it anyway and gave her a quarter teaspoon and it helped her so much...stupid pharmacist! I called her Dr the next morning and she said it was fine.
Re: Foods
Baby #2!
We are avoiding nuts because J possibly had a reaction to something with them in it.
