Mobile : How did you tell the Facebook world?

We have our a/s on Wednesday and if everything looks good, I think we might finally make it "Facebook Official." I figure I'm probably one of the later ones to announce, so I want to hear your ideas and how you all did it. We took a good picture of DH and I at a family function this weekend that showed my bump pretty well so hopefully people will catch on. These are my current contenders:

DH and I are super nerdy, we like video games and such, so I drew a picture that had Mario, Peach and baby Mario and wrote "waiting for player 3". I'll try to attach the pic.

For the initial announcement we just posted an ultrasound picture. After we found out we were having a boy we posted a picture of the outfit we got him with the caption "Baby BOY [last name]'s first outfit".

It wasn't really our kind of thing to draw attention to it...I figure people may see eventually in photos, but didn't feel a need to formally announce it.

I didn't make a huge deal of it but just posted a picture of DD in a big sister shirt saying baby #2 arriving in December.

My wedding anniversary was the 3 month mark, so I announced it then and said it was my anniversary present to my DH. I had a more creative idea since my DH works in custom building, but I was sick and tired during the first tri, so that sorta fell by the way side. I haven't posted about my pregnancy since, maybe once or twice. I'm a private person. I may, if a/s is all clear, announce what we are having, but haven't decided yet.

I still haven't announced on FB and don't know when or how I will. I will most likely wait until after my 20 week u/s which won't be for another couple of weeks.

We didn't annouce until after our a/s. We took some photos of us with pink accents like flowers and streamers. It was a combo we're having a baby and it's a girl!

With DS I had MySpace and changed the thing to expecting. I don't think many people noticed lol. With this one we announced while away in Disney. To announce sex i just said "Lucas is going to be a big brother to a little brother"

I haven't announced the sex yet but we announced on Fathers Day with a picture of our dog in a big brother shirt. He is our first child so that seemed appropriate. For the sex reveal my idea is: Out very own Buddy the Elf coming Dec. 2013. Elf is my favorite movie. I watch it all year. So, it fits my life.

My announcement was simple, saying my DH and I are thrilled to announce Baby "last name" is due this December...with a pic of me and my little bump. I was dressed and all made up for a wedding so I didn't mind having a pic.

cheesy, yes, but i thought it was cute. oh and it was two days before H's bday, because we didn't want the announcement to get stuck in all the facebook wall posts on his actual bday.

We're 18.5 weeks and haven't made it "fb official" yet. My BIL has already posted something about pregnant chicks in response to a comment, but I didn't say much in response to it. I'm not sure we will do an official announcement either, eventually it will come out. But that's just us, we're very low key type people.

We announced like this "We have something to share with....." and posted this collage picture that I made.

We will be having ultrasound to find out which boy or girl we will have this Saturday.

We're boring. I wanted to order a "Big Brother" shirt, but DH didn't want to wait for it to come in (we announced after Mat21 results). He just used an u/s pic and made a Christmas card image out of it. It did the job.
