Gibson's Birth Story
I started getting contractions @ 8:30 on July 27th. I thought they were BH but they were becoming consistent so I decided to time them. From 8:30pm to 10:30pm my "BH" were 5 minutes apart lasting 1 minute each. I decided to stop timing and get some rest while I still could. I woke up at midnight-ish with pretty bad cramps, lost my mucus plug, and had my bloody show. I labored at home as long as I could and then we headed to the hospital at about 5am when we arrived I was almost 9cm. At 7:45am my water broke. We soon learned my water sack had a sub sack which was pressing on half my cervix not allowing me to dilate fully. We has to eventually rupture the other little membrane and force stretch the remaining of my cervix. When it came time to push at about 9:30am, we learned my little guy was sunny side up

After about an hour and a half of trying to push him and turn him, it wasn't working. He was stuck in my pelvis and my back labor was unbearable. The dr. decided he needed to be vacuumed out... So that's what we did. He was born at 11:45am weighing 7.10lbs and 21.5in long. I did it all natural. It was hell but I am proud and couldn't be happier. We are all doing well!
