Anyone started the baby name search? I know it's early but I'm a planner lol. Top of my list for boys is Henry and Forrest. Edie or Hazel for a girl. Love "vintage" names
I work with an "Edie" and people CONSTANTLY call her Mr. LastName and Eddie. I like the name, just some food for thought.
I have had my girl named picked out for years Bella Nicole and I love the name Lucca for a boy but my hubs not so much. Boys names are hard so we will see. We already have 3 boys so we will see!
DH and I picked our baby names before we were even married. We like Jackson and Ryder for boys. Jackson is a family name, but I"m a little concerned because it has become so popular lately (I've already seen it twice in this thread). We like Aurora (Rory for short) and Vera for girls. DH keeps joking that Aurora's middle name should be Borealis, after the northern lights, but I have nixed that. He may still convince me to go with a B middle name though, so he can occasionally substitute in his preferred name.
My DD's name is Caroline, and if we have a boy, his name will be Charles (Charlie). We can't agree on a girl name. DH loves April, but I don't. Maybe Claire.
We both really like Emma - but I'd like it a little more formal as Emmalyn and middle name Jane after my MIL. For boys we like Stetson Joseph - we were watching a rodeo and DH loved the name Stetson and it kind of stuck. We want kids that nicknames come easy, so she would be Emma, and he would be SJ like the movie "the blind side". (We both LOVE that movie...)
Love Emmalyn. That was our girls name if DS would have been a girl.
We're pretty settled on a girl name, Rowan Elizabeth. Boy will be Carson/Cameron Matthew. Carson is a tribute to my grandfather who went by the nn Caro(pron. Karo). I agree with the Supreme Court test; felt like these were unique enough but still passed the test. We may or may not share names with friends & family, I want some wiggle room to change it last minute & that's harder to do once there are 50+ items with their name embroidered on them.
My daughter's middle name is Rowan and my middle is Elizabeth!
Boy: Hudson Thomas... Thomas is my husbands middle name. Huddy for nickname
Girl: Isabella Renee.... And everyone will think it's from twilight, but actually both grandmothers have Renee in their names and she will be Izzy for short.
Girl: Halen Elizabeth (we are big fans of Van Halen, MIL's name is Elizabeth). This name was chosen before we even got married! Boy: one of 3 names, interchangeable between first and middle - William (my husband), Thomas (my dad), James (husband's grandfather)
In fact, I've said plenty of times that DH got to choose everyone's last name, including mine, so I get to choose the rest!!
Bahahaha! I may have to try that argument with my DH. I like your thinking. (Although he knows that I was completely happy to take his last name, so it might not be so convincing.)
For us we had the name picked out before we even started trying... which is kinda bumming me out. I had so much fun picking out my ds name. but this time it will be Chandler Jean for a girl and Chandler Thomas for a boy. The boys middle name has changed twice but I don't think it will change again. Chandler is a huge family name and I love love it for a girl! I want a healthy baby first but if I could choose it would be a girl!
My youngest DD is Kennedy! Love her name
I really love Hadley Rose for a girl- Rose is part of my mom's maiden name. We've also liked Hayden and Zoe in the past. For a boy we chose Harrison after my Grandpa, Harry, before we were married.

We didn't name out son until he was about 12 hrs old. It wasn't even a name on my list. DH is a big non planner and believes we can't name the baby until we meet him/her. So I probably will come up with a list and we will see what we decide once baby arrives.
DH and I made an excel spreadsheet on names about a year ago. We both added names and then went through and took off any ones either of us did not like. We have a list of names, but our tops for right now are Holden Everett for a boy and Quinn Harper for a girl. I also like the name Blythe for a girl but DH isn't a fan.
We still have all our names in mind from last time, for girls Leela or Maya, we had a really hard time with boy names, and had to name DS at the hospital, so really hope we're having a girl!
I was single when i had my son so I didnt have to consult a soul on his name i went with Caleb Austin, and later found out Austin was a family name, war veterans This go round I am married. Ive always loved Harper Grace for a girl. I also like Ava. My husband is all about girl names, he really wants a girl. He really likes Alexa, Cassie & Kaylee. Boy names We are liking are Carter, Cole, Luke, Noah, Tyler, Evan & Levi. However he doesnt even wabt to talk about boy names because he "knows its a girl" Mmmk we'll see lol
I had a crazy experience with my first child, I had a name picked out and refused to change it, but about two months before due date another name snuck in and felt right! I named my first Addilyn Paige, it is completely her! The name I had picked out was............ Lyla Faye Or I'll do Ava Noel For boys I absolutely love the name.... Porter Joseph But my parents named all my brothers bible names, it is kinda a tradition, and I really like the name Zeke, so... Ezekiel "Zeke" Spencer (after his dad)
Don't have names picked, but know a little girl named Verona (Vera), and think it's lovely. For boys, I had a friend named Tristan when I was growing up, and like that too.
I absolutely loved Corrie Nicole (Nicole is my sister's name) for the longest time and Gennaro Gabriel (Gennaro is my husbands middle name), but now Corrie just sounds weird when I say it and my husband is starting to not like Gabriel, hmmmm I'm sure we'll change our minds a lot before March.

We already have a Charlotte. That was the only name we could agree upon. Henry Robert is our pick for a boy after two of our grandfathers. Nervous for a girl because we could only agree on the girl name we already used.
We haven't agreed on a single boy name. We just know the middle name will be Carlyle (family tradition in DH's side). If it's a girl her name will be Emma Rose (rose I'd in honor of my grandma rosemary who passed away less than a year ago).
____________ Emma Rose Born 3.11.14 8lbs 14oz, 21.5 in
DS is Eli Joseph so we will be avoiding E names. My DH assumed we'd just use our girl name and 2nd choice boy name for baby #2, but I just can't imagine using any of those.
I'm really loving the name Sawyer for a girl and Micah for a boy.
I am not sure what we will pick if its a girl, as we had so much trouble last time agreeing on one. If its a boy it will be Joshua Michael, and he and DH would share initials.
We haven't decided yet. We will be team green again so need to come up with 2 names. We already have an Eleanor. I love the name Alice for a girl but DH isn't so sure. For a boy, I have no idea. James will be the middle name after my grandpa but I don't know about a first name. DD would have been Ezra, but I didn't love the name even then.

Sawyer is adorable! And I had a very good childhood friend named Micah. No point to this post but to love your name ideas

For first boy it is Chad Matthew. First girl Genevieve Hope. Second boy Jace Christian. Second girl Noel love. Like to plan ahead. The middle names for girls are of religious reasons my middle name is Faith so Faith, Hope and Love. Cheesy yes but can't call a girl jr.

I LOVE the name Aurora (Rory) but my husband won't go for it I wanted to do a "J" middle name and also call her AJ, or RJ but its a no go.
