I had to work this morning and someone, learning I was 37 weeks pregnant, said, "Wow, you're very functional for being that far along!" And you know what, considering yesterday my lower back was bothering me so much I spent as much time as possible on the couch, I will take that compliment! Anyone else get a somewhat awkward compliment that you still take as a positive? Now back to the couch for the rest of the day...

In line at BRU yesterday I told a lady I had 3 weeks left. She looked shocked and said "wow, you don't look that far along!"
I was overweight to begin so this made me feel good. I know there are a few ladies on this board that don't like the "but you're so tiny" comments, but ill take them!

@dani_brewer - this made me laugh!

I like the reactions I get from people telling them I have less than 10 days left. Its like they think its so strange I'm out of the house. Like I should be sitting at home or in the hospital parking lot..

My Dad and husband have both said they are proud of how healthy I've been this pregnancy and how active I still am. It feels good because I feel like a bump on a log. My walks have been dramatically shortened etc.

I bent over to grab something that fell out of a lady's cart at Walmart and she said "wow, I'm impressed!" So was I lady, so was I.

you aren't carrying weight anywhere but in your stomach, that's how you can tell it's a boy.

I think that's as much of a compliment as I'm getting

I don't get many comments (good or bad) - I get looks though like people are thinking of saying something and then don't. I guess I look really pissed off when I'm out.

Someone just yesterday asked when I was due. She thought I was due in a couple months. I am due in a week. I've gotten a lot of you're small comments and I appreciate all of them.

I get a lot of that and "wow, you're so small!" from a lot of my summer rec kid's mom's. I think it's because they all have 2-3 kids and are trying to be polite.

Last week, my dental hygienist told me that I had barely gained any weight anywhere and that I was all belly. (which is true) It felt so nice to hear something positive for once and not be told how huge I am.

Same here. I received two of those comments in one day and was so happy b/c I was also a little overweight before getting pregnant. I chalked it up to the fact that I was wearing black hahah

I have also gotten the " your all belly"and my cousin who hasn't seen me since Christmas said to me the other night "it looks like you are hiding a basketball under your shirt". I feel huge but it is nice to get good comments from people every now and then!! :-bd

I was trying to reach something near my feet when we were in the car. It took like 5 tries and DH was just laughing at me. "You're so cute when you're helpless." he says.. I'm like "I am NOT helpless, I got it myself didn't I?" haha
