Today sucked...

Today is my 33rd birthday and it sucked. I told DH all I wanted was a night out...but ge waited until Thursday to ask the nanny8f she ccould watch DS. She had plans. So then he asked hus sister whi lives 30 minutes away if we could drop baby off...only restaurant is 45 minutes in the opposite direction. So 2.5 hours of driving for a damn meal. But wait...it gets better. He didn't make reservations. So we can't get in at the restaurant. So we end up at a crappy, cheap tex mex restaurant. Then ssomehow we get skipped over. It takes over an hour to be seated...an hour llater still no food. We finally left. So happy birthday to me. Itbis 8:40 @ night and all I have eaten are greasy tortilla chips. Im feeling so loved right now.

BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Ha, ha. Thanks. I like the idea of a night out sans DH and DS...or an expensive gift to myself. Or maybe both!

    All of this! I feel your pain - my bday is Saturday; it's almost always quiet as its summer and no one is ever around etc. all I want is a night to plow through copious amounts of wine - probably won't happen since I am the food source for a four month old. Sigh.

    I'm sorry there was zero thought put into planning on his part. Happy 3-3 though!

    As an aside, DH sometimes complains because my b-day is 3 weeks before his so he feels like his plans for my b-day set the precedence for his b-day. I had no idea making reservations could be such a demanding task.

    Happy birthday to you!! I'm so sorry things were crappy...and I completely agree with the previous suggestions: expensive gift, girls night out, and a re-do!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    I'm sorry that it was such an awful night.  I hope you get to do a redo--and that DH knows that he needs to go above and beyond since he totally dropped the ball.  However, Happy Birthday!

    Happy bday! I'm sorry it wasn't all you hoped for. Men definitely stink or at least my husband does at planning in advance. Seems like only women can get it done. I'd tell him he owes you a makeup night out soon!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
