Well I'm glad I didn't ignore what I wasn't sure were contractions because I was in labor. I wasn't sure because DS 1 was induced. I got to the hospital and was at 5 cm. I was admitted and shocked that he was coming this early.
I quickly progressed to 7 and got my epi. I was a much happier lady by then. DH just had asked if it was ok if he closed his eyes when I felt some pressure. I called the nurse and they rolled me around a bit and his stats dropped. I was 9 and 3/4 so they wanted me pushing. 8 to 9 pushes and about 25 minutes later Henry was here 6 pounds 9 ounces. He is in the special care nursery on oxygen because his lungs weren't quite ready yet but I'm hopeful that I may get him back before I go home.
He hasn't nursed yet but I'm pumping like a mad woman to get everything going for him. I hope you ladies are well and please listen to your body because I wasn't sure that what I was having were contractions but they were!
Re: Henry is here!
I'm glad you didn't ignore it.
I hope you get to take your little guy home. Good luck.
