I am so over wearing clothes...

anyone else finding that at this point nothing is comfortable? Pants are too hot, shorts show off my sexy leg stretch marks, dresses eventually end with some chafing... I'm just ready to stay at home in my underwear all day. Not to mention I have grown out of half my maternity wardrobe. I have however discovered I can wear my husbands boxer briefs under dresses, but still, hot and swamp a$$y. Please tell me I am not the only one.

Not at all. Most of the time, since I'm home by myself, I'm in boy shorts and a tank or sports bra. I just don't care.

Nope! Being naked and laying in bed or on the couch under a sheet has been my norm lately...5 days away from due date and I'm WAY over clothes !! Lol

You're not alone! My shirts are getting too short, my dresses are too small, forget about pants or capris! I'm done working so luckily I don't have to dress up for much...most days I live in yoga pants, shorts and tank tops!

I just have a nursing bra, shorts and one of DH's shirts on during the day. I hate having to put on clothes or leave the house for any reason. Last night while DH and I were watching Netflix I just got sick of clothes so I just sat on the couch naked, haha. Felt good to breathe!

Ugh. I was too cheap to buy much in the way of a summer maternity wardrobe (DD was winter ware) and only have two pairs of shorts. My job requires shorts. So I've been using the bella band with my normal shorts.

Over it.

DH laughed real hard when it got cold enough to wear pants and I was happy about it.

Yup. I have been wearing DH's shirts and shorts when I'm at home. If I didn't have a 3 year old I'd probably been running around naked at this point. Everything is just too tight, or uncomfortable, or it is too hot. I didn't think about wearing his boxers underneath a skirt though. I'm going to have to try that now. hahaha

The only time I have put clothes on this week was to go to the store and it has been fabulous. I just try to avoid walking past a mirror because I haven't gotten used to the stretch marks on my tummy.

You can find me most days in just my underwear and a tshirt. If I have to put on clothes, I'm left with one pair of jeans and one pair of sofee shorts that fit. My shirts "fit" width wise, but I feel like my belly hangs out haha so I wear fi shirts. As soon as I get home, pants and bra come off almost as I'm walking trough the door.
No bra, no care. (Yep, I know that doesn't rhyme like it's supposed to, but it's the truth haha)

I'm so excited that this is my last week of work. I may wear yoga pants even though they are technically against dress policy. I have plans to wear a dress on Friday. Once I'm home all the time I'll be in tank tops and stretchy shorts, bra optional.

DH and I went out with his brother a week or two ago, and I was begging to go home as soon as we finished eating. He laughed and told BIL that I have a limit to how long I can wear real clothes. It's totally true.

ETA: And full disclosure? The only time lately I've really been getting dressed or putting on makeup has been for my HDBD pictures. And last week? I totally edited my makeup on. I wasn't wearing any

It has been a very rapid decline from being cute, PG, and comfy in maternity clothes to being so uncomfortable in this PG body that I can barely move let alone get dressed. And I'm still working full time!? How I do not know. It hurts stand up or breath. This PG thing is no joke near the end. 36 weeks and beyond is hell. So clothes really only serve the purpose of keeping me from getting arrested for indecent exposure when I must be in public.

I run a 6 week long summer rec program for the city. It's usually awesome and the most amazing job ever. But this year? Totally underestimated how much more this pregnancy could possibly suck compared to DD's. It's hot, I'm uncomfortable and quite sore. I have a great staff, but it's still far from a desk job. Or sitting at home in my underwear.

It also goes until exactly 1 week before my due date.

You definitely aren't alone!! I've given up on anything that isn't tent-like! Lol. For work I have the flowy maternity cotton dresses. As soon as I hit home it's a pair of loose elastic shorts and a tank. My belly hangs out but I don't care!

Oh I'm so with you! All my maternity shorts are too tight and its definitely way too hot for jeans. Skirts and dresses are my friend, but that requires me to dress up. So thankful that my last day of work is Tuesday. I usually wear pj shorts and one of my husband's t-shirts around the house. Thank goodness for his clothes! 10 days away from DD!

I swear I could have written this myself. I wear shorts and cover with a blanket while on the couch bc my stretch marks have gone down my inner thighs! DH is so sweet and keeps telling me there's nothing to be ashamed of, I'm pregnant- but still it bothers me! I haven't even gained that much weight. I just hit the 30 lb mark and tomorrow ill be 37 weeks.

It's 900 degrees where I live. It's a task to wear clothes or makeup. My DH suggested tinted moisturizer because I was complaining about how blah I've been looking, and we both looked at each other like, that's a great idea, but that would require getting up and going to the store.

Me too! That's the only "foundation" I use, because it's so light and doesn't look like I have makeup caked on.

Nope. Even underwear aren't comfortable at this point my belly wants to dig right into the top of them!!
DFs boxers are about all I can swing.
Unless I have to go somewhere then I'm just very uncomfortable til I get back home.
