Not Directly MC Related - Siggy Help

Hey ladies, I'm posting this here b/c right now, fresh from my D&C, this board is the only one I'm really comfortable on.

I am trying to include information in my siggy about my loss, but the words don't show up.  I have a ticker for my son, and that I can see fine, but the writing I included above it isn't showing up at all with the new bump format.  Any tips to try and get it to show up?

    Nevermind, I figured it out.  If anyone is having the same problem, I used the new "Account Options" followed by "Preferences" then "Signature Settings" and added the text in there.  That fixed the problem.

    Things have been weird since they've made the switch, but I'm glad you found where to go.  Hope you're taking good care of yourself today....((Hugs)).

    I can't figure out how to put my little ticker thing from Lilypie/Daisypath in my signature. When I copy the html link it just shows the link info and not the ticker. Any help? TIA

    I'm no expert at this, I just played around with it until it worked, but here's what I would do.

    Is your ticker made through the bump or an outside site?  If it's through the bump, they give you two options for the html, right?  Have you tried both?

    Also, there are now two ways to edit your siggy.  For the "old" way, you go through community up at the top, edit your profile, and edit avatar signature.  That's where my ticker info way.  The "new" way is what I listed in the second post.  Maybe try copying the html for your ticker into both and see if either works?

    Finally, I know to save your siggy you used to need to hit the "save" button around 5-10 times.  Not sure if that's still necessary, but maybe worth a shot.

Then I finally figured out how to update it the new way, but my ticker won't work. There's only one html option and when I copy and paste it into the signature box, it just shows up as the text for the html code and not the actual ticker. I'm not very good at these things... haha.

    Eh, I have no idea then, sorry!  I have no knowledge of HTML stuff either, I just tinker around until things work usually.  Maybe you could check out the bump tickers and see if they have any that you like.

    For a Lilypie ticker, there should be an option that says "Image URL," you need to copy that code then go into your signature settings the new way (the little head icon at the top right of the page) and go to the "Add Image" button and paste the code in there. That should make it show up.

    And FYI, I don't think the old signature area works anymore. You can get into it, but I think that's mainly still available so that we can copy our old siggys; it doesn't actually apply the changes if you make them there.
