37 weeks!

I'm 37 weeks and I'm 2 cm dilated. I'm due with a baby girl on August 15th. My first baby and I have several different people tell me I look like I've gone past my due date. I also have people from my family and my fiancé family that says ill be late and some keep saying it will be a two weeks or sooner. What do you guys think?

Let me check my crystal ball...seriously how in the world are we supposed to know. How about this your LO will come when it's all ready no one can predict that,unless you have a scheduled c section or induction. Which I'm guessing you don't sense you asked this question.

People are dumb. No one can predict when your baby will arrive.

I can tell you that your baby can arrive any time from 37 to 42 weeks. Be patient.

I think baby will come when ready and it really doesn't matter what anyone thinks. If I went by what people thought I'd be holding jr. right now.

What kind of answer were you looking for? How the heck would we know when your baby is coming? We don't even know when OUR babies are coming!

I wasn't asking you when my baby was coming, obviously you don't know. I was asking the women who have already have children and have gone through this. I have not gone through this, so again, my bad for being curious. I think I have the full right to wonder why everyone tells me what they do, cause it has apparently happened before to either someone they know or themselves

I read somewhere that 95% of babies come two weeks before or two weeks after their estimated due date. That basically sums up the possibility of you delivering early or late. Given that you are 37 weeks gives you a slimmer chance for baby coming this week. And it doesn't ever matter how pregnant you look or not because everyone carries each baby differently, even from the same woman.

Let everyone say what they want and think what they will. The little one will be here when they are ready. People just speculate on anything and say just about anything.

Being dilated means nothing really. You can stay dilated for weeks with no labor signs.

We can't really help you or even make an opnion on if you will be early or late. Be patient.

No, you asked us what we think. And people are stupid, everyone carries their baby differently. It has no bearing on when you deliver. Maybe if you did some research you would know that.
