Nickname for the Fifth

My husband is Glenn the Fourth and we are debating if we should continue the tradition. If we had a boy there would be three Glenns alive at the same time so to keep things less confusing we would probably give the little guy a life long nickname. I know that thirds are sometimes called Trey so I suggested Quin (for quintuplet) but he says that is too feminine. Any suggestions?

Re: Nickname for the Fifth

  • This is a stretch but Quentin is latin for "Fifth"

  • I know a 5th with the NN Cinco.

NN "Quint."  If you're familiar with lax at all there was a great goalie years ago that's now a broadcaster on ESPN named Quint Kessenich.  That may be his given name, but I always thought it'd be a great nn for a fifth.

You could always go by a middle name, too.

I second the vote for "Quint."  I grew up with a kid whose actual name was Quint (He was the fifth child in his family.)
  • Or you can just come up with an unrelated NN. My nephew is George IV, and no one has gone by George since George Sr. They are all unrelated NNs, including Bud/Buddy and Jeeter.
  • G5?

We have Daniel the Third in our family, and he is Little D3
