Anyone started the baby name search? I know it's early but I'm a planner lol. Top of my list for boys is Henry and Forrest. Edie or Hazel for a girl. Love "vintage" names
We don't really have many for Boys since we cut a lot during naming DS... but girls Helena (Hel-lee-na), Luna and Kaia.... This is initial. We always focused on naming once we got the gender ultrasound.

I love baby names and have a huge list. I have some weird personal rules I follow - they have to be family and the name has to be very formal (what we call the Supreme Court Justice test).
My top girl name is Helen and our top boy is James. I don't love James, but my H wants it.
I've been obsessed with names (see link in siggy)! I have been keeping a list since we started TTC, and I seem to have a new favorite every month. Right now, I'm loving Madeline for a girl, Ansel for a boy.
My H doesn't really like either of them, so I am predicting battle royale when we actually get serious about picking lol!

we've pretty much already picked out both of our names, had about a year ago, before we were even trying. I am debating the boys name though since a particular TV couple recently just named their son, Duke. Its starting to get on my nerves, I like our middle name better as a hommage to DH's grandfather.
Our names change every month too... But right now for a girl I like Josephine and Penelope. For a boy I like Nicolai and Bennett

Everett Alan James (3lbs8oz) and Eliana Lee (3lbs7oz) born 12/28/13 at 30w6d!
We have some ideas kicking around but nothing concrete. We had ideas before we knew that DS was a "he" but we ended up with a totally different name than anything we had planned out before

I like that rule. James is on our list too, and it seems to be the most popular choice. I prefer classic but more obscure names. James is in the top 20, unfortunately
As it's a family name, we'll probably use it as a middle name.

I've been looking, can't help it. We already have 3 girls, so finding another girl name may prove difficult. My girls are Allyanna sanique, Sarah ellani and kaidence jade. I like Everett for a boy, but my h hates it. I really really like it though....
We are planners too. We've been debating names since we got married (many years before we started ttc). We like Gigi, Grayson, Camilla, Tucker, Parker, Adaline, & Gunner. After dealing with the whole BIL preggo gf jacked one of the names I loved I've stopped giving two fucks and will name it whatever I want. Even if it's the same name as their cousin. lol
Xavier has been our top boy name since our first DD was born. If we have a girl, we are going to have naming trouble... We've used all our favorite girl names already!
My H has a cousin (really a step-cousin) with a son named Jacob too. She calls him Jake though, but I don't care because we've been planing on that name for years longer than she was even engaged or her baby was even thought of. Actually she was never really engaged...she just got married and told no one, then had a fake wedding a year later, 3 mos. after her kid was born. But that is a story for another time....also I have a female dog named Parker. She came with the name though... ;-)
If we have a boy, it will be our boy pick from last time which is Joseph Francis. If it's a girl, it will be our second runner up girl name from last time, Emily Kathryn.

We're pretty settled on a girl name, Rowan Elizabeth. Boy will be Carson/Cameron Matthew. Carson is a tribute to my grandfather who went by the nn Caro(pron. Karo). I agree with the Supreme Court test; felt like these were unique enough but still passed the test. We may or may not share names with friends & family, I want some wiggle room to change it last minute & that's harder to do once there are 50+ items with their name embroidered on them.
We still have out boy name from when I was pregnant with dd which is Jacob Joseph but last night we both really like the name Henry and are now torn. For a girl the front runner is Lilian Jane but others we like are Charlotte and I like Violet but DH doesn't.

I love that you called it the "Supreme Court Justice Test" - that's awesome. Made me smile. We also like family & formal names.
For a boy we're going: Harrison Michael (Harry was DH's father, Michael is mine) & for a girl, Amelia Judith (Amelia for Earhart, strong independent woman & pilot like DH's father, & Judith is my mom's middle name & was DH's mom's name).
We were trying for almost 2 years, so we've had a lot of time to think about names. It's resulted in a really long list and DH and I can't seem to agree on a favorite at all!
A few that are probably in the running for girls are Madeline, Aria, Olivia, Sienna and Hayden. For boys, we like Vincent, Liam, Mason, Jackson, and Landon.

Boy- Marshall Brady (named after MIL Marcia) Girl- Clara Jane (combo name of my maternal grandparents Clarence and Mary Jane) My H wanted to have a straight up Tom Brady but we settled on a middle name.
A girl is Clementine Rose... That's where I got my name for this! A boy name has yet to be discussed! There are a few names I like.... Samuel, Micah, Max. But again, we haven't even discussed boy names. I only know Clementine because it was my first choice for my daughter but her dad wouldn't agree. When I told my boyfriend I was pregnant I.jokingly said "so a girl is Clementine right?" And he responded "sounds great to me."

I'm also considering Harrison, nickname Harry too. Funny.
For a boy...Landon or Ethan or Carter For a girl...we have a Haley and Natalie already and I would kind of want to continue the end of the name with the "lee" sound. I like Molly or Kaylee but not sure. I also like Alexis "lexie" but that wouldn't continue to "lee" sound.

We are team green and my husband is choosing the boy name and I'm choosing the girl name. I think he likes Eric, but I'm not too sure. I love Caroline right now, but have a hard time because nothing goes with the middle name I've chosen. It would be Allison after my best friend who passed away three years ago. My other kids are Hazel and Owen
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

We really have no idea. I thought we'd use the boy name we had picked for DD (we were team green and will be again this time) if this baby is a boy but DH has already nixed it. Right now I really like Everly and he loves Genevieve but with the french pronunciation, which no one will get. And I feel like it's too similar to Gemma with the American pronunciation. I've been scouring name lists to no avail. We're apparently too picky.

Audrey for a girl. Audrey Adele, Audrey Evelyn, Audrey Marie, or Audrey Lois.
For a boy . . . since we were (and are) team green, we had chosen Micah last time around. DH loves it and wants to use it this time if we have a boy, but I am having serious second thoughts about it. I liked it initially, but after having two friends name their boys Micah, I'm less crazy about it. It also feels a little too casual for me.
DH has his heart set on Micah though, so we'll see what happens. And obviously if it's another girl, problem (temporarily) solved.

My cousin's son is Brady after Tom. We were thinking about Peyton for a girl, and DH was super excited because he loves Manning (don't know why, he's a Pats fan).
We both really like Emma - but I'd like it a little more formal as Emmalyn and middle name Jane after my MIL. For boys we like Stetson Joseph - we were watching a rodeo and DH loved the name Stetson and it kind of stuck. We want kids that nicknames come easy, so she would be Emma, and he would be SJ like the movie "the blind side". (We both LOVE that movie...)

Yea, we have about 20 some by names and about the same amount of girl names. We had this list from our last pregnancy.
Kennedy was my favorite girl name, but not sure if we will go with that for sure
DH's favorite boy name is Paxton.
