High fever, a few red bumps & no appetite :-/

We just moved from Michigan to Georgia and have been here less than a week and my LO (11 months old & has never been sick) gets a random fever of 102 under the arm, which is closer to 103 since I took it under the arm. No other symptoms at first. Keeping acetaminophen in him, which is helping the fever, but he won't eat more than 4 oz at a time & won't sleep unless I'm laying next to him. Pretty obvious he feels crappy. On day 2 I noticed a couple red bumps on him - one on his leg, another on his belly & a few around his mouth. He's up to date on all his vaccines but we don't have a doctor here and I don't know if I should take him to an urgent care place or get him into a ped office. Anyone else experience anything like this? At first I was afraid it was mosquito bites because they are very bad here but I don't think that's what it is as we have not really been outside for any length of time. Any advice is appreciated.
