Hello everyone. DH and I have been married just over two years and have an 18 month old son. According to LMP, I am 4 weeks and 4 days after only one cycle of the pill (yes I was shocked). EDD is 3/29/14. I have my first appointment next Thursday. We live in VA. I am currently a dispatcher/inside sales rep/customer service coordinator for a construction company. I was a teacher for 10 years before this. I enjoy reading, watching crime shows, HGTV and SOA. I am looking forward to getting to know you all. I am glad I have you all to share the news with because I have almost slipped up like a MILLION times already...I don't know how I can keep a secret for another 8 weeks.ahhhhhh
My name is Kari, I'm 27 and I live near Dayton, Ohio. DH and my 4 year wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of this month but we've been together almost 9 years (we got married on our 5 year dating anniversary). We have a two year old son that's so funny! My edd is March 19 until further notice!
I went to college to be an English teacher but after having an absolutely horrible student teaching experience I decided that it wasn't the profession for me. Right now I'm working part time as a bank teller. It's not my ideal job but I'm stuck in a career rut and have no idea what to do. Not sure if I'm going to continue working part time after LO is born... I don't have the patience to be a sahm though!
In a former life (before DS and life got in the way) I enjoyed reading, making cards, etc. I still read occasionally and enjoy home decorating a lot. Wish I was a millionaire so I could make my house beautiful! Ha!
That's about it I think! I'm really enjoying this board so far. Haven't seen any mean posts or drama and I like that. I'm here to chat, offer advice when I can and ask questions, not be a mean girl and create drama! H&H 9 months to everyone!
Hi! I am 33, and live in South Florida. My husband and I are both attorneys, and met at work, but I transitioned into a new career in sales and marketing at the beginning of this year. I have been a major lurker, but this is as good of a time as ever for me to jump in. I have been tentative to post, as I have had two previous miscarriages, and psychologically, I have been nervous to accept this pregnancy as reality (if that makes sense). After my second loss (first was a missed miscarriage around 7 weeks after a heartbeat was detected, and second was around 5 weeks), I went in for a battery of blood work at RE. I was diagnosed with a clotting issue - prothombin (factor 2). The RE had me consult with a hematologist, and his recommendation was daily lovenox injections during pregnancy. My husband and I tried again the month after the second loss and low and behold, got pregnant again (that part is easy for us)1! I am somewhere in week 5, and my first ultrasound at RE is scheduled for 8/1. I am nervous re: this pregnancy sticking, but trying to remain positive. Anyone else in this group taking lovenox during pregnancy?
Hello!! I'm Shaq - I have a little boy that is 16.5m old and is a March 2012 baby. I am a SAHM and my husband is a software programmer. My Edd is March 25 but that could be off a bit because my cycles have been uber wacko since it came back. Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to getting to know you guys!
I intro'd before but I thought I would add it in here. I am 35 (yay AMA) DH is 32. We have a 4 yo DS. It took us 3 cycles to get our BFP with DS. 12 cycles with #2 EDD 3/27/14 3 days after DS' bday. We went through IF testing and was going to start treatment after August's cycles. Luckly we don't have to.
I am a working outside the house mom as a mental heatlh therapist. Luckily I get Mondays off with my little man. I am excited about #2 and will be finding out since I am such a planner. Good luck ladies!
Hi my name is Brittany this is my first. So today is 5 weeks ! I'll be working part time and going to school full time. im due march 27th & I don't know what to expect but I'm hoping for the best.
Hi! I'm Lauren [actually, it's my middle name, but I like the Internet anonymity]. This is my second time pregnant, but hopefully first take home baby. I had a missed miscarriage in March at 8 weeks, and had hung out on TTCAL until I got my BFP. The PgAL brain is terrible, but I am hoping it is easier after my first ultrasound on Tuesday.
I will be a working mom. I have a demanding career that I enjoy way too much to ever give up. DH travels constantly for work for long periods, so I'm often on my own.
I live in the South and love all things preppy and southern. I love ethnic food and college football. I am a bookworm and Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory and Downton Abbey addict.
I also have a very strong faith, and would love to have a bible study group for those interested.
Lauren -- I would definitely be on board for a Bible study group
I am new to the Bump/message boards in general. I am 7w2d and can't even figure out how to get my signature to update properly with a ticker. Usually I am somewhat technologically proficient ??? I don't know how anyone writes on these message boards from a phone.
I'm from NYC via Virginia. Love my FT job and hope to return part time. I have my own side business as a copy editor, ghost writer and literary consultant that is just getting off the ground and I plan to continue putting my heart into it.
I've been married nearly three years. My husband and I are going to attempt to buy a house before this baby is born. DH keeps and breeds exotic reptiles... so that's a thing.
This is my first post on The Bump! I just got a BFP last night. This was my 2nd cycle since stopping the pill so I was shocked when I saw the positive result! I am excited & anxious at the same time. As you all will probably learn with future posts, I get awful anxiety with doctors. I have a great recommendation for an OB so now I'm trying to relax about everything
Congrats to everyone & I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Ditto on the Dr. anxiety. Being pregnant will definitely be an adventure where we'll have to confront that particular fear. Who knows, maybe we'll be fearless experts by the end!
Hi Everyone! I'm 35 and very excitedly expecting #2 on March 6th! #1 will be 2 next month (where did that time go?). MH and I have been together 17 years, married 3 of those. We live in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
STM mom as well. It took 3 years and fertility treatments to conceive DS. He's awesome-sauce BTW. This pregnancy is a total shock for us because we thought for sure we'd have to do treatments to conceive again.
Went in around 5 weeks for confirmation, but we didn't see a sac. We're hoping it was just too early since betas came back normal. We go in again on Friday, so hopefully we'll see that everything's moving along ok.
I'm originally from Jamaica, currently a GA Peach. I'm a CPA, but I'd love to be doing wedding planning instead.
IUI#3 brought us our dragon baby Z
TTCAL January 2015 Siggy Challenge: Animal Snow Interactions
Hi Lauren! I too LOVE the Big Bang Theory! My husband and I just started watching it a few months ago, but have almost caught up. I would love to be part of a Bible study group if you put one together!
Hello, all. I'm Kate, and I am 34 years old expecting baby #2. I have lived my entire life in Chicago and have been married to my husband (a Carmel, IN transplant) since August 2010. Both of us are attorneys. Our daughter is 20 months old, and our rescue puppy, Peyton, is about 3 years old. This baby is due March 22, and if s/he is anything like our daughter s/he will hopefully not take it too hard on me this pregnancy.
I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next 8-9 months.
Hey all! It's fun to see how much I have in common with many of you! I'm Steph, I'm an Ohio girl, and this will be my second baby. DD is 17 months and full of energy! DH and I have been married 6 years and he's the perfect partner for me. I'm due March 4 and wayyyy more tired with this pregnancy right now. MIL often watches DD so I can get a good nap in. I'm a HS English teacher and am nervous about having to manage grading, being a good mama to a toddler, being a good wife, and handling the pregnancy.
God is a big part of my life and I would love to be in a bible study.
I love to read primarily mysteries and classics, jam to music and sing, watch Downton Abbey (just got hooked this summer!), and eat (especially candy that is geared more toward kids - Sour Patch Kids, Skittles, Sour Punch Straws)!
I'm a low-maintenance, low-drama girl - You'll only be getting support and understanding from me and it's pretty difficult to hurt my feelings.
Looking forward to this journey with you ladies!
HI All I am a FTM, pgal in March. (heard a HB this time and could not be happier) Married since june of 2012. Dated starting in 2008. Live in Colorado! Work as a Clinic Director of a Gonstead Chiro office. Maybe a SAHM after March who knows.
Love trash TV, wine (not while prego) & attempting to be crafty (none of my projects ever really turn out) I belong to a made up sorority called the Kappa Kappa Wino's (KKW) just the besties who all met working together back in the day and all have "big kid jobs" now. I love to be rediculious. that is it!
Is there some way that we can keep this and the FAQ at the top! I was so reveling in the lack of repeat posts today! Now I'm sad to see this falling down the line...
Hi everyone! My names Danielle. I've been married 2.5 years and finally changed my name today! haha, better late then never.
DD turned 2 in June and she gives me a run for my money. As excited as I am to have another baby, the thought of 2 scares the hell out of me. If we are being honest.
I already miss martinis. Big time.
I blog over at www.minismama.com to keep me sane since we moved away from friends and family and DH works a lot and as a way to document DD's life, since I forgot to do a baby book. oops.
Hello! I just did an intro thread, but I will add mine here. I am 30 and expecting my first on March 18th. We are so excited and also really quite scared (both of something going wrong and also of this actually happening!). I am a teacher and I am very excited to be here.
Hello everyone! I did a separate intro before I saw this post, but just wanted to introduce myself on this thread too!
My name is Katie and I am a FTM who is due at the end of March. I haven't told anyone except DH that we're expecting so I'm going a little stir crazy with the secret and I haven't even known a full week yet! It's so nice to have this board to be able to Connect with other ladies going through all this together!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and joining in on all the conversations! H&H Pregnancy wishes for you all
Hi all, My name is Michelle and my DH name is Mike. I am 27 (28 on August 4th) and DH is 27 also. We got married on 6/2/12. DH is a certified master technician for Chevrolet. I am a Catering Coordinator. I also am studying Criminal Justice- Law Enforcement, going for my Associates Degree. One of the classes I have left to take is a self defense class and since I am preggers I am not allowed to take it do to the risk of the physical demands.
DH and I are very active in our church, and go 3 times a week. We are Independent Fundamental Baptist. We are both chaplains at the local jail and go there to bring the good news of Jesus Christ. I too would be interested in a Bible study.
We got BFP on 6/26/13.. DH didn't believe it until I got a confirmation.. then he wouldn't shut up about twins. Until Monday, when I had my u/s and seen that there is only one baby in there. Baby was measuring 7w3d and had a heart rate of 149BPM. We are team finding out. EDD is March 8th.
I have had 3 miscarriages (2 complete and 1 missed). I am just praying that this will be our sticky baby.
"Dear Lord, I would have loved to
have held my babies on my lap and tell them

Hi I'm Aleigha. I am expecting my third and final. DD is 6 and DS is 2. I am a hard working mom and live in CO. I am thrilled to experience every step of the way. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Happy and healthy pregnancies to all.
Hi all! I live in Florida and my hubs and I are expecting our first March 22. Our first ultrasound is next Wed so date may shift slightly! We got preggo on our first round of fertility meds! We are super excited!
YAlllow, I'm 29 and mother to my DS who is 19 months. DH and I have been married 20 months I'm a Hospice Social Worker and counsel patients, families, and co-workers on death and dying. My DH is a SAHD who does an amazing job. We tried to get PG this time and it seemed like it was taking a long while. I was starting to feel frustrated and was convincing myself the doctor tied my tubes during my c-section and wasn't telling me for fear of me suing. lol This past month I tried taking my temps. There was one day with a big spike and I told the hubs he was getting lucky that night. Must have done the trick. I had a dream the night before my expected period that I took a test and it was positive. I woke up and took one and there she was. EDD is March 18 - I feel my symptoms are much more than the first time. Nausea, some vomiting, headaches, EXHAUSTION, bloat, and wanting to eat the world. I gave convinced myself this one is a girl. I'm sarcastic and witty at times but you probably won't hear it from me. I'll read your posts and agree or roll my eyes. We haven't make our announcement to family yet so for now I can relate and share experiences with you all. Thanks!
Hi Ladies! I am going to be a STM, EDD is 3/11/14 which is DD's birthday (she is 16months now). DD was 3 weeks early so I will most likely have a Feb. baby! It took 3 years to conceive DD (with 2 MC's) so we were so surprised it only took 3 months this time. I also have a 9 yr old SD who spends 1/2 the week with us. DH & I have been together for 7 yrs, married for 2.5 yrs.
I am a WAHM, DH & I own a Construction Company. we live in New Jersey. We love the outdoors and are always taking adventures to new places. I love reading although since DD I do not have much time. I am looking forward to our adventures together over the next 8 months and beyond. My March 2012 board has turned into a great group of moms who are still a huge support system for one another. We have been there for one another as our baboes grew into toddlers.
I introduced myself to the group in an individual post before I saw this thread, so thought I would say hello here as well!
My name is Katie and I'm a FTM. DH and I haven't been trying that long so we were a little shocked to find out we're expecting at the end of March! It hasn't quite sunk in yet, but I'm starting to feel the bloat so I know it's going to sink in real soon.
My due date is 4 days after my 30th bday so maybe baby and I will share a special day I'm so excited to be a part of this group, especially since NO ONE but DH knows about this yet. It's tough keeping it a secret and I haven't even known for a full week yet! Yikes!
Thanks for being so welcoming. I wish you all H&H pregnancies!

It will be difficult to transition from an IF mindset, but I am so excited to be where we are now! I have my first appointment today (had to beg the obgyn to let me come in early). I'm hoping that they can just confirm the pregnancy so I can rest easy for awhile. Looking forward to a H&H 9 months with you all!

Hi everyone! I already posted a quasi-intro thread but figured Id post here, too! I'm Jen, 33, and expecting our first baby March 30th. DH and I were married May 25 and decided to enjoy a month of newlywed bliss before trying. I thought it'd take a while, but I was wrong. Happily wrong! I'm enjoying reading all the posts and am happy to be here!
DH and I have been married for just over 2 years. We have a DS who is 19 months old and a fur baby who is 5. We live in Southeast VA. We both work for the same construction materials company. I was a teacher for 10 years before this. Baby #2's EDD is 3/29/13. We have our first appointment a week from today. I cannot wait to tell my family and friends. This wait is killing me. I am excited about getting to know you all. The Bump is a new experience for me, so far everyone is so helpful!

I am very silly, very out going and love meeting people. I live in middle tennessee out side Nashville.
I am due March 11 2014. We are team green we have names picked out for either gender.
Just mobile moody time

DH and I have been married for just over 2 years. We have a DS who is 19 months old and a fur baby who is 5. We live in Southeast VA. We both work for the same construction materials company. I was a teacher for 10 years before this. Baby #2's EDD is 3/29/13. We have our first appointment a week from today. I cannot wait to tell my family and friends. This wait is killing me. I am excited about getting to know you all. The Bump is a new experience for me, so far everyone is so helpful!
