Surgery tomorrow

Lila is having myringotomy tubes inserted early tomorrow morning. Hopefully afterwards she won't be having the persistent ear infections she has had recently.

I am not anxious about the procedure or her being anesthetized but dreading not being able to feed her tonight and tomorrow. We will all get through this and she will be a healthier, happier baby but it sucks not feeding a child who is too young to understand the reason why she is starving.
TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN

FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN

No more frosties

IVF #2. September 2014

PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    That was the worst part for me too.  I hated knowing that he was crying and hungry and I wasn't allowed to "fix it".  Good luck tomorrow and I hope they get her back quickly so she's not too hungry!

    Good luck tomorrow, Lila! I can't imagine how hard it must be to watch your baby girl suffer and not be able to explain what's going on to her, but she'll have so much comfort just from your hugs. Spend the day cuddling with your girl and rest up!

    We had tubes put in on Friday. DS was running around like crazy by the afternoon.  Couldn't even tell he had surgery that morning.  He has had so much more energy and has been such a happier baby since Friday. He was in so much pain before.
    Our surgery took maybe 30 minutes.  He had surgery at 7:30 and was in recovery by 8.  If you have any questions, PM me.
    btw - He had no problem with the no eating.  We just scooped him up and put him in car to go to the surgical center. And didn't eat in front of him.  We threw off his routine so he 'forgot' about breakfast.

    Ugh - I had a long response for you and TB ate it!

    Basically, my DS had tubes on Friday and what an amazing difference.  

    As far as eating, we just scooped him up and took him to surgery center. So we threw his routine all off and he 'forgot' to eat. 

    Surgery was 7:30 and he was out in recovery by 8.
