My name is Nickie and I just got my BFP
yesterday and this morning! EDD March 3rd! We are still in a bit of a shock... we were
not necessarily TTC, but we were not trying to prevent it! I am praying for a sticky baby. I am coming from June 2011
board and was very active on there with the birth of my son. Who was born May 30th 2011.
A
little bit about myself... I am very involved in my local community and
our local Babywearing group. We are currently in the process of becoming
Babywearing International Chapter which I was just voted on as the
president. My application was just submitted and accepted to become a
Volunteer Babywearing Educator. I will be evaluated via Skype or in
person in the coming weeks. Babywearing is something very passionate to
me and it has made my life more manageable on so many levels. I think
that if I didn't find babywearing I think I would have looked at
parenting a lot differently. If you have any questions about babywearing
or are interested in babywearing please don't hesitate to PM me or give
me a post. I'm more then happy to help you.
Other then babywearing I'm an Application Developer. Who recently went back to work full time in February from part time.
During
my last pregnancy I was diagnosed with severe SPD (Symphysis Pubis
Dysfunction) and was bound to a wheel chair at 33 weeks and placed on
bed rest at 28 weeks due to preterm labor. This time around I'm hoping
to visit a Chiropractor to make sure that I can try to limit the pain
and the alignment issues that I was having. I am aware of it, so I can
be more proactive about trying to prevent it or at least not making it
as much of a severe case this time around. I am also at a healthier
weight this time around. I did go to a lot of PT during and after
pregnancy which helped, but not as much as a Chiropractor did so I'm
hoping to visit them out of pocket since my health insurance don't cover
them. I am trying to also be more active this time around which can
help with SPD. I'm trying not to get depressed or think to hard into
what we are going to do if we have to deal with my SPD with having a
toddler, but I do have an amazing DH and support from family and
friends.
H&H 9 months to everyone!

I'm 28, in WI and a social worker. My H and I have been married for 2 years and our daughter will be 1 next Sunday. I never, ever thought I'd do 2u2 but in April I was all for TTC again. I struggled with PPA/PPD after my daughter was born, but I am feeling much more confident and comfortable with motherhood now. I like to be open about my experience because I feel like new moms need to hear that it isn't all puppies and rainbows.
I noticed your avatar. Did you go to Iowa University?
PS my avatar is far superior
And I'm a Husker, so now I have reason to fight both of you
Oh, snap!
Football season could get interesting around these parts... "puts on fighting gloves".
Hi! I'm Heather, and I can barely believe I'm posting here! Hubby I "haven't been not trying" for the past year, but he was pretty sure he didn't have any "decent swimmers" left he's 42, I'm 33. This is baby 1 for both of us, scheduled to arrive March 14. I'm a supervisor at Costco and he works with special needs students at a local high school. Oh, and we live in Alaska with my border collie/ husky mix dog, Murray. See you all around! :
Hi, I'm Missy and I'm a FTM. I'm 4w2d along and my EDD is March 19th. I'm 28 years old and this pregnancy was nearly 2 years in the making. We have mild male-factor infertility but are generally considered to have Unexplained Infertility. I have never been pregnant before this. We were finally able to get pregnant via IVF w/ ICSI. It's been an emotional rollercoaster, but we're so happy to finally be pregnant.
I have a BRCA1 mutation that puts me at 87% lifetime risk for breast cancer and 40-60% lifetime risk for ovarian cancer (yes, the same genetic mutation that Angelina Jolie has). I plan to have my breasts and ovaries removed at the age of 35 to mitigate that risk. This has put some pressure on my TTC journey (we'd like to have at least 1-2 more children after this one).
I live in a north suburb of Chicago. I love volleyball and ice cream. I have three little fur-babies: a tiny cat (seriously - she's full grown and can't weigh more than 3 pounds), a bichon-poodle (looks like a cotton ball) and a goldendoodle (with a serious case of "I'll just shove my head under your hand to make it easier for you to pet me").

I did an intro a few weeks ago when we got our BFP, but I will do another here. MH and I are expecting our 2nd baby. I had a fabulous pregnancy the 1st time around and hope this one is just as great! Congrats to you all!

My name is Lianna and I will be a FTM in March! I went through a m/c in January, started trying again in March and in our third cycle we got our BFP on July 1. I am excited, but still very cautious with the whole thing.
DH and I were born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. We met on match.com in September of 2007, got married October 8, 2011. We moved into our first house in June of 2011 and I have loved making our house a home. I can't wait to add a little one to our home as well!
Both DH and I are teachers, he teaches high school and I teach Kindergarten. Our summers are a lot of fun, especially this summer! We've played outside a lot and gone to a lot of baseball games.
I enjoy crafting (especially card making) for myself and for others. I have a furbaby named Fraggle who is a golden collie and is my pride and joy!

Hi, I did an "official" intro, but then I saw this thread. My name is Meaghan (27) and my DH is Joe (28). We were married 2 years ago, and now we are expecting our first on March 17th.
I am excited to get to know the people on this board.
Hi everyone! I'm Steph from PA. I recently got a BFP this past Wednesday with an EDD of March 22nd. This was the first time my DH and I were TTC and will be our first child! I'm both excited and nervous and am looking forward to the support from all of you!
Hi! I am a STM, due March 16th. I have a DS who is almost 18 months. We live in Virginia where DH is from, but I am actually from NewBrunswick, Canada. I love reading, animals and being outside. We have 2 cats and I would love a dog but that probably won't happen till the kids are a bit older. DH and I met online playing an RPG so we're a little nerdy. We love playing video games and board games such as Carcassonne, Dominion and Munchkin.
Hey!! Fun, I love to talk about myself. Mobile smiley. I'm an attorney and a STM. I write really dry and sometimes sound grumpy, but it's unintentional. I blame it on my job. In real life, I'm small and giggly.
I live in the southeast, am an exercise widow, love to swim and all things SEC. I'm very competitive and love discussing current events.
Funny story. I have an awesome 3 year old daughter. My H and I put of TTC because of how ill I was with the first and because we opened our own firm in September. Then my H was accepted into a clinical trial for his severe psoriasis. He was told he wasn't allowed to conceive while participating in the 5 year study, so if we wanted kids he had to get me pregnant quick before starting. The actual day after I ovulated the head doctor called him to tell him they were wrong and he was allowed to conceive on the drug. Oops! Forced me to do this I guess!
Oh, and I puke a lot, and talk about it even more.

Where in Germany are you from. I dated a guy for about 7 years from Germany. We actually lived there for a while too in Rosenheim, outside Munich! Maybe I can practice my mediocre German on you lol
I swear I had answered this! Bump must have eaten it.
I am from Bremen, which is in the North of Germany. My uncle lives in Rosenheim, it is so pretty there! We went to visit him in 2010. Beautiful.
you are welcome to practice your German with me any time! :-D
Hi all! I'm a STM, looks like due 3/3/14. My daughter is 9 months old, born last October. Getting pregnant with her took a year and some help from modern medicine, so this baby is a happy surprise. But still, big surprise. I'm freaking out a bit at the prospect of having 2 under 18 months. Tell me it'll be OK!
Besides that, I've been married to my husband 7 years, we live in WI, and I'm a working mom. My 14 year old step son lives with us and is a fabulous big brother, and we have 2 dogs we love like children, too.
Hi my name is Megan and I'm 28. I'm a high school history teacher and coach soccer and basketball....barely going to finish my season before giving birth it looks like. My husband is a mechanic and this is our first pregnancy since we only got married 2 months ago! We had a BFP after we got home from our honeymoon since I waited till school was out to go. So I guess we can call our LO a honeymoon baby even though it was conceived right before haha. Our EDD is March 14th and we have our first u/s appt on Thursday!
I live in the Northeast with my hubby, dog, and daughter (17 months). Our second little one is due on March 2. I got pregnant as soon as we stopped using birth control. We are team green, just like last time. I am hoping for another natural, out-of-hospital birth.
Hmm . . . I'm 22, a SAHM, blogger, been married for almost 3 years. Having a just-barely two year old and a newborn is crazy scary to me, but I am also excited for them to be close in age and hopefully share a strong bond.
Hi my name is Amanda and I live in WA. My husband and I have been married for a year this Sunday July 28th! We actually just decided to start to TTC in June and didn't think it would happen that quickly but it did and now we are 7w5d along with our first! We are due March 6th and are very excited! I work as a nurse in a psych ward which can be very stressful so it might be hard to keep my stress level down while being pregnant! I'm very glad this board exists, it's nice to have a group of people to talk to who are experiencing the same thing I am! Excited to get to know everyone over the next 9 months!
I intro'd on Sunday, but no harm in doing it again.
DH and I have been together 5.5 years and married for 2. We have a sweet Boxer baby and an evil cat. This is our first pregnancy and I already feel completely lost and a little overwhelmed, but I'm more than excited to start this journey. We live in the Seattle area but are both from CA.
I watch too much TV and I'm addicted to peanut butter M&Ms, French fries and sunflower seeds. Basically I enjoy sitting my ass on the couch and watching TV while stuffing my face. I like to think of myself as a multi-tasker.
This is baby number 2 for my dh and I. I have a 15 month old ds. We were ttc and this was our first month. I was charting and using ovulation tests. I'm 25 and DH is 24.
I live in Carmel, Indiana. We recently moved from Southern California. I am 27 have been married for 10 years. We have two children 9 and 4. I had horrible HG with both pregnancies. My due date for this baby is still up in the air until our ultrasound. I got pregnant on cycle 2, yay. We are very excited for our last baby.
I use to work full-time when back in Cali but I am staying home and finishing up my degree in information technology. I am a freelance web developer on my free time. I am a huge couch potato and love watching TV, mostly scifi and comedies.
Hi all! I got my BFP on 7/15/13. I went to the dr this past Friday for confirmation and he said all is well. So hubby and I are super happy since we had a miscarriage in March. My EDD is 3/4 or 3/5 dr wasn't sure yet. I am still nervous but hopeful. We have a 3.5 yr old DS. I am already wondering how we will do with a Pre-schooler and an infant. I am already tired and have on and off nausea. So it has been a little tough. I am also a 1st grade teacher in NY and am currently on summer vacation. Thank God for that because I don't know how I would survive the 1st Trimester being at work. Sometimes I can barely keep my eyes open.
Looking forward to chatting with you ladies and sharing info and advice.
DH and I have been married for 5 years, living life in Central Florida. We were blessed with our DD in September 2011. She surprised us by coming 4 weeks early and has come a long way from our little 5 pound peanut. I can't believe she will be 2 in September! DH and I are both currently working and finishing up our bachelor degrees. I am a L&D nurse working full time and praying I won't have a repeat of issues with preterm labor.
We were so thrilled when we got our BFP on July 4th. I have been lurking here somewhat but haven't said hello yet mainly because school has been insane! (Graduation is Aug 3rd!!!) From our calculations I'm due March 13th. I am happy to travel this journey with all of you and Wish you all a Happy and Healthy pregnancy!
Hi, I'm Lori. I am a 34 year old SAHM to a wonderful 15 month DS. My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage at 6w1d, so I'm very grateful for DS and this new LO. I am 7w5d with an EDD of March 6. I have 2 dogs and live in Northern New Jersey (originally from Southern Cali.) We were married 2 years ago this past April, but have been together almost 13 years.
My first pregnancy was fantastic. I had 2 weeks of manageable morning sickness, a short period of headaches and some heartburn at the end. That's it. This pregnancy has been a lot rougher! I have had morning sickness since 5 weeks and it has progressively gotten worse. Eating is so hard, since nothing sounds good. Smells are the worst and heartburn has already started.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies.
Hi! My name is Isla, due March 19th. I'm 24 and DH is 27, we've been married for for 4 years and together for 10. This is our first pregnancy after a year of trying, we are very excited to become parents. Looking forward to this journey with you all.
Hi! My name is Lindsey and we loved having a March baby this year so much, we're going to have a March baby next year too! DH and I have been married for 6 years and we are loving being parents now. Our 4 month old is a very happy baby who has totally spoiled us! We live in Mass now but we're in the process of deciding where to move next year. Looking forward to sharing this time with you all!
My name is Jessi and I'm a FTM. DH and I have been married for 6 years and have been TTC for over a year and a half. We finally hit the jackpot with our first round of IUI. We are super excited to start expanding our family.
I work for an education non-profit training teachers, but I started out as a high school science teacher. As my bump name suggests, I am a huge nerd. I love sci-fi (particularly anything Joss Whedon or Dr. Who related), reading, board games (Dominion, Cards Against Humanity, Carcassonne), and baking. And I love sports. I live in SEC country but was raised a Buckeye and picked up the Blue Devils at college. I can't wait for football season!
My name is Kelly. My husband and I live in the Middle East, where I'm a teacher and he does something impressive with computers.
I also coach soccer, basketball, and volleyball. It'll be interesting to see how those go this year -_- I'm also an avid rugby player, which I've obviously retired from for the time being.
This is my first pregnancy and a little bit of a surprise. We're super excited to be parents though. Based on my lmp my due date is March 9th, but I'm pretty sure that I actually ovulated at least a week later based on when we BD. I've got my fingers crossed for a St. Paddy's day baby.
Hi! My name is Brandi, and I am PG with our first - a honeymoon baby, as we were married 6/21. I was PG last year, but it ended in MC (blighted ovum), so I am really nervous this time. I'm really early (probably about 4.5 weeks), just had my second beta drawn today. My "generic" due date based on LMP is 3/22, but as that was my first cycle off BCP and I'm sure I O'd late, I'm guessing my "real" due date is later.
I'm really looking forward to chatting with everyone here! H&H 9 months to all!
Hello! I am a 31 year old professor, pregnant with my first child. My husband is also 31 and I know he'll be a great dad. So far I am feeling exciting, and physically very normal- lucky me, I guess! We are due around March 9. Second ultrasound to determine the babies size and age is Thursday- so excited!
Hi, I am Sam and I will be 7 weeks pregnant on Friday. I work in advertising and produce commercials. I travel a lot for work and anxious about telling my boss that is going to have to stop for a while. My husband is a machinest and we had been TTC for almost 2 years. My first appointment is in two weeks, and I am excited to get through it and start telling people I am pregnant.
Hi! I'm Lindsey and an upcoming FTM. I have been patiently waiting my whole life to try for kids. My husband and I have been together for 9 years, married for 2. I've always feared not being able to bear children and was pleasantly surprised when we got pregnant the first time we tried.
I am a kindergarten teacher and really love my job, but plan to be a SAHM after this coming school year. I am somewhat of a naturalist and love to research, um, everything! Consequently, I really enjoy living as environmentally friendly as is financially possible and enjoy researching the latest and greatest stuff about it. Being that kind of parent will be an exciting new road for me to travel.
I'm a total nerd too and really enjoy reading National Geographic and Discover Magazine. Dorky, I know, but I can't help it. I'd rather do that than watch TV. I love to cook, garden, and hang out outside with friends and my two corgis. I'm liking this new Bump stuff because it makes it easier on me to learn the rules. I've never been a forum poster before so there's been a bit of a learning curve here for me these past few weeks. I'm having fun though! Thanks for making me feel welcome.
I've been posting but forgot to officially introduce myself. I'm Diana and am a SAHM and blogger. This is my 2nd baby. Due 3/21/14. I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter as well. Happily married for 6 years. I blog over at www.nannytomommy.com if anyone isinterested.
Hi I'm Liz. I'm 29, ftm. I live in Los Angeles w/ my husband. He's a cancer researcher, I'm an attorney.
A big part of my practice is medical malpractice defense (lots of ob/gyn stuff) so I have lots of fears about pregnancy and delivery. Hoping you all can help me stay sane
Hello and congrats to everyone. I'm Christy, 37 y/o FTM living in Oregon. Had a loss at 12 weeks in September, 2012. EDD is 3/21/14 and hoping to have a sticky one this time.
New to chatting on these types of forums. Glad to have a way to connect with others. I work in health care, DH is engineer. Love outdoors, biking, skiing, and Scuba diving. I'll be looking for some new hobbies for the short term:)
Hey girls! I'm pregnant with our third, due March 9. This babe is a happy little oops. I live in north TX (NOT by any choice of mine) and have a 6 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. My H and I have been married for 9 years and together for 12. We have a teeny tiny little puppy that my son named Ranger, which doesn't suit him at all and, therefore, is impossible for me to remember. I've dubbed him "Puppy." It fits.
I'm a SAHM and I decorate cakes on the side. I don't do much to promote my little home business other than posting pics of my work on my business FB page, but I've been getting a lot of orders lately! It's fun and it lets me use my creative side, so I usually enjoy it.
I, too, love BBT & Downton. And reading, softball, scrapbooking, and leaving the confines of this miserable state every chance I get! I'm very involved in my church and I coach cheer for our Upward league.

Happy, healthy 9 months to everyone!
Congrats to all you lovely ladies!
Congrats!
I'm really looking forward to chatting with everyone here! H&H 9 months to all!
March 2014: first medicated cycle + iui = BFP!
New to chatting on these types of forums. Glad to have a way to connect with others. I work in health care, DH is engineer. Love outdoors, biking, skiing, and Scuba diving. I'll be looking for some new hobbies for the short term:)
Wishing all and healthy & happy pregnancy.
I work in an Insurance company managing the Corporate Giving Department...
I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you ladies!
