Apparently I was wrong for keeping DS home today
Mobile Apparently I was wrong for keeping DS home today.
DS2 had a fever all day Sunday, complained of a headache and threw up 3 times the last around 1am. So, naturally I stayed home with him yesterday.
He was fine all day yesterday. No fever, no vomiting, playing, etc. we figured he'd be fine to go to DC today.
He woke up this morning around 4:30 saying he was scared of something in his room. He came in our bed and asked me for some water. I gave him a little bit in a sippy. He drank it and laid back down. A few minutes later he started throwing the water up. It wasn't much bc I didn't give him much and he barely ate yesterday.
At any rate, it was DH's turn to stay home with him. He argued w me about not taking him to DC. I don't know why he threw the water up, but it seemed like the right thing to do considering he'd been sick.
I just talked to my mom and she asked why I didn't take him too. Was I overreacting in keeping him home? I told DH I'd be pissed if DS got sick bc someone brought their sick kid to DC.

If DS is sick, I keep him out of DC until there was no sign of vomit or fever for 24H
