I'm in my second trimester and having really weird dreams. Most of them I'm being chased or someone is trying to kill my child and I. I've never ever had dreams as such. Some are when my baby is born, some are showing pregnant. Does anyone else have strange dreams? It causes me to wake up in the middle of the night with a horrible headache that has been lasting for days. Is anyone else going through this? If so how do you deal? Thanks!

    Oh goodness, I have terrible & realistic dreams. None so far of anyone trying to kill me or baby but still. I wake up so shaken in the middle of the night & usually wake H up, tell him about it & ask for some reassurance then cuddle back up with him. It usually helps but there's really nothing else to do for me. Have you asked your OBGYN if there's anything you can take that might help with such a terrible headache, I would be concerned if they are lasting that long.

     Hope you can find something that helps hun. :)

    Thank you so much. I am seeing a fetal neonatal specialist to see what I can take for my headaches. These dreams even pick up where they left off. It does help to wake him up and receive comfort. But sometimes they are so intense it takes a moment to realize they are not real. I'm glad I'm not alone. Thank You :

    I don't really have terrible headaches when I wake up from my dreams, but I have had some strange ones lately. Last night I was involved in a semi-modern, semi-medieval zombie fight for a house in which I was carrying a sword that my dad owns. I've never had dreams like that before I got pregnant. I usually just wake up and talk to my fiance about them and try to sort things out and make sense of them. More often than not I just end up more confused though. I'm sorry if this isn't helpful but I wanted you to know you're not alone in the strange dream realm.
