Your ovaries are likely each the size of baseballs and still growing remember that for every follicle they are seeing, EACH one is measured in millimeters, so they are really becoming enlarged. Follistim grows the follies, and menopur also grows them and matures them. Ganirelix tells your brain not to make yourself ovulate.
I had to wear maternity leggings during my IVF months. It was a lifesaver. Drink plenty of electrolytes, high sodium foods, and lean protein foods. This will help with the bloat, and help prevent OHSS. Good luck!

I'm with ya! I just started Ganirelix today. I feel more bloated this cycle than my previous but I think it's a good sign! Things are moving along in there lol. GL!

This is my round two..Im a good responder to Follistim & Menopur and started Ganirellix on Cycle day 4 both times...As soon as I take the first shot the headaches and bloating start within hours. Fortunately (or unfortnately) I cycle short too...so I wont be on the Ganirelix long before I trigger...sigh...the things we do

Three ectopic preganacies in left tube in 1999, 2003 and 2004. HSG in 2010 concluded left tube blockage. IUI with femara in 2012 BFN. IVF #1 June 2013, 20 retreived, 14 mature, 12 fertilized via ICSI, one transferred, four frozen, BFN. FET in September 2013 - BFN:( FET #2 April 2014 - BFP!!!!
