Depends on how tired and how long she naps. It usually can take her up to 45-60 minutes. But as DH says, there are times when we go to sleep and don't fall asleep right away--so why would a toddler be any different.
She is content in her crib playing and fiddling for the time, and sometimes she falls asleep right away but other times she just plays.
She lays in bed and sings or plays with her dolls and stuffed animals for 30-45 minutes after I put her to bed. Unless shes really tired and then she's asleep in like 10-15 minutes.
I honestly have no clue. She can be very quiet and sneaky. A lot of times she'll come out of her room once or twice in the first hour after bed time. But last night I thought she must have fallen right asleep until I went to check on her and found her in completely different pajamas with no diaper on. Thank god I found her before she pee'd the bed, but I never heard her make a sound the whole time she was rifling through drawers looking for a cuter outfit to wear to bed.
Re: How long?
We usually don't have any issues with him waking back up, but there is a key word in that sentence.
Like last night, we laid him down at 9:30, we had to go "assist" him 3x before he was out OUT.

Usually anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
