Curious to hear from all who are against all the shots vaccinations we are told our children must have.

2 of the 3 people I know who have autistic children that were not born with autism, ended up autistic after taking the measles shots. I find this subject very important to educate myself on and think its sad with others don't care, or just believe everything the nurses doctors say are 'safe'.
LMFAO. I have an oceanfront house in Arizona to sell you if you believe that bullshyt. There is NO link between vaccines and autism. None. And I would still rather my child or other children in my community wind up autistic than suffering and dead from preventable illnesses.
I would also love to know what you would consider credible anti-vaccine information if you think nurses and doctors aren't safe.
For real? Make sure your 'education' involves actual SCIENCE and credible sources.
Why is it that you think that the measles shots have a correlation to the children's autism diagnoses?

Years ago people theorized that the SMALL amounts of mercury in vaccines could be related to autism. California ruled that all vaccines had to be mercury free and the state ended up having an increase in autism rates.
I find it upsetting that you want to educate it yourself about vaccine safety, yet your basing the idea that autism is resulted from vaccines based on anectodal "evidence" of two children you know who have autism had vaccines. How many kids do you know who have had vaccines who don't have autism?
Question for you: how do they KNOW that their babies were born with autism? Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure that when your baby is born, there is NO WAY to know if they are autistic or not.
You will never find science backed, legitimate evidence that supports NOT vaccinating your child. Never. Ever. You will, however, find a ton of evidence from sources like the CDC and oh! the World Health Organization, that shows how beneficial vaccinating your kid is.
If you choose to not vaccinate, PLEASE, for all that's holy, keep your kids away from my daughter. Heck, keep them in a bubble far away from the children of the intelligent individuals that did the right thing for their child and all of society and vaccinated.
See, that's the problem. You want more information in support of NOT vaccinating. You won't find that information from anyone but Jenny McCarthy. Research complete.

If you want LEGITIMATE information, go to the CDC or World Health Organization websites.
Beyond that, I mean it 100% literally that you should go move yourself to an effing island if you choose to not vaccinate because your kids may wind up autistic.

Did you not do any research for which baby items were better? or which schools may provide better education? That's no different than what I intended to do. And when all your posts are about seeking information AGAINST vaccinating because your poor children are being subjected to "vaccines that caused autism in three kids you know" it's pretty clear that you have some really, really stupid ideas.
The bottom line is that ALL of the (literally) thousands and thousands of published and peer reviewed studies over 75+ years of data prove the safety and efficacy of current vaccine schedules for nearly every person in the US and abroad.

Debate, I wouldn't even waste my breath, er, energy formulating a response on this chick. She has no flucking clue what she is talking about and she has the nerve to call YOU an idiot? Bish, please.
SIGH. Yeah, I know. I just have several family members and the daughter of a friend who cannot be vaccinated due to health concerns and depend on herd immunity to stay somewhat protected. I have an uncle who's dying a slow and very painful death due to Post-Polio Disease, after suffering in an iron lung for a YEAR as a 3-12 month old infant and living a miserable life with polio-related ailments. And I've watched a coworker's son spend months dealing with the effects of pertussis (he had not yet received his full course of the vaccine when he caught it from an unvaccinated church member) that very nearly killed him.
Vaccines aren't just for funsies. Kids in the US are really dying from vax-preventable diseases at alarming rates right now and it makes me ragey that Jenny McCarthy and Miss Texas Bimbo the OP think it's a lark.

Just a question.... Do you use any medications? Antibiotics for infections? Analgesics for pain? Should you or one of your kids God forbid develop cancer, will you treat that naturally as well? Not judging, just trying to see the logic. Is some medication ok, but others are not?
You're a complete fool. Natural immunity is what is inherited from the mother (passive) or acquired from exposure (active). Since we aren't able to tell what immunities our children will get from us I'd rather have some control over the exposure through vaccines (artificial) than just gambling on whether or not they'll encounter someone that could infect them with a disease that is almost 100% preventable. I'm not taking my chances with our child running across someone with bacterial meningitis and them having or developing natural immunity. That's what was taking place before the vaccine by default since immunization wasn't an option, and the outcomes are scary. That is just plain reckless.
So you don't trust the Government and doctors that support vaccination because, after all, they're only human, but it's okay not to vaccinate because you know "countless providers and other health professionals who won't even vaccinate their own kids!" What are those health professionals? Also "only human" I would assume.
You're taking a much bigger risk by not vaccinating your kids than you are with what is being "pumped into your kids bodies."
It's an unfortunate coincidence that the signs of autism often appear in children around the time after children are vaccinated. They rarely are detectable earlier, as they are generally symptoms dealing with social and verbal skills. To date there is no study that proves any link between vaccinations and autism. I work with kids on the spectrum and I understand parents need to have an explanation for something so difficult. I would urge you educate yourself with actual peer reviewed studies however and not listen to a lot of the fearmongering rhetoric that is out there. Vaccines play a crucial role in our survival as humans. Autism has many causes, some genetic, some environmental.
Also, please don't listen to Jenny McCarthy. She is not credible in the serious world of autism research, diagnosis and education.

"Natural immunity" is not helping the many infants who have died of pertussis at less than 8 weeks old, or before the boosters become effective. IMO, it is selfish and irresponsible for adults not to follow up on their own immunizations or not to immunize their children.

I have an (almost) 2 year old who is going to be going to the testing to decide if he's just delayed, falls on the autism spectrum, or if there's something else.
Vaccines didn't make my child delayed (or possibly have autism), his brain chemestry/wiring did. I have vaccinated all of my children and will continue to do so.

Woodsie, kidcrazy is crazy as a loon. She also wants to get an unlicensed/ underground midwife to attend her at home VBA3C. She has a habit of making choices despite the available information. I highly doubt she has a medical background.
I completely agree that it needed to be said. I just wanted to let you know just how crazy she was. LOL
I am allergic to the pertussis vaccine and almost died as a baby as a result. My younger sister got a pass on it due to my bad reaction, and I have always been told not to do the pertussis vaccine on my children as they have a higher risk of bad reaction/death due to my allergy. I will be working with baby's pedi to make an informed decision, but my understanding is that his risk of having the vaccine and reacting badly is higher than his risk of contracting whooping cough, even though it is on the rise.
My kids will be vaccinated for everything else, but please, consider that there are some of us who literally CAN'T protect their children from certain diseases and have to rely on herd immunity.
DH and other adult family members will be getting adult boosters. I can't get one of those either. I feel so helpless and sad about this every time it comes up.
