Hey all - thanks for all the cheering and thoughts this week!
The bad news: I'm cancelled. This morning I went for monitoring. I still hadn't ovulated, but the follicle seems stuck at 18, about ready to ovulate, and my lining is stuck at 7.5. Before we took a look, my RE said, "Well, yesterday, all your bloodwork indicates that you should be there! But, if your lining has made it up to an 8, we're going to have a really tough decision to make about whether to proceed." Then, she took a look, and it was an easy decision: it was still at 7.5. So, I'm NOT going to be PUPO next week after all.
The good news: I feel good and actually somewhat relieved about this decision. We are moving forward right away with a lupron and patch medicated FET. I triggered this morning so that we know exactly when I ovulated, and then I'll start Lupron in just a few days. Hopefully transfer will be approximately 8/26 - the day before my first day back to teaching school! I feel anxious about the lining building up for that, because in looking back, even through all my IVFs, my lining was never above an 8. Now I'm wondering if this is an issue related to my endometriosis? Anybody know? Has anybody out there gotten better lining results with their lining doing estrogen patches and lupron?
Other good news: The other "bonus" (I'm a silver lining kind of gal) is that we have vacation next week with DH's entire family. Now I can drink, go white water rafting, and horseback riding! I'm happy that I don't have anything to hide now (since I was planning on faking a back injury to avoid questions about why I wasn't doing certain high impact activities), and I can just relax and enjoy the time with everyone! Additionally, I'm off to NYC in mid-August, and the trip still works with my upcoming protocol...so I can also enjoy a cocktail while I'm there with DH for our anniversary.
Thanks again for all the support. I know you ladies cheer for me and I hope you know I'm doing the same. I hope I can join the August Shooting Stars but still keep my Fireflies badge. I just feel so proud to be among a group of amazing women like all of you - your help and support means so much, and I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. I thank God for this place, and for your kindness. Sometimes I can't believe my good fortune in having you all to talk to through this crazy time in my life.
Here's to hoping that August will be my month instead of July! I'm still cheering for all my fireflies and now the August Shooting Stars TOO!

Ugh, so sorry to hear you're cancelled. I also have Endo and had borderline lining measurements (right around 8 as well) when I did all of my IUIs. When I used Estrogen patches for IVF and FET, it was considerably thicker. I truly think that will be your ticket!

Hey Rosy! Sorry you got cancelled. I have everything crossed for you for August! Don't get too hung up on a lining of 7.5 mm. I would be thrilled with that personally. With my BFP, my lining was at 7mm (all time best for me) so if next cycle it's not right at 8mm, try not to stress. I hope your lining looks perfect next month and you don't have to worry about it!

Omigosh - thank you for saying this! I'm really happy to hear that your BFP came from a good lining at 7. I hope the estrogen patches make it perfect, but if not, I'll try not to worry. Thanks for the boost!

Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

| Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

I think Philly said it best. Your attitude is amazing, and I love your silver linings. Whitewater rafting and horseback riding sound like a pretty good way of relaxing, and while I know you'd rather be PUPO, those activities are an awesome next-best-thing.

I'm so sorry you were cancelled. That really stinks. Your silver linings sound awesome though and at least you don't have to wait very long for the next cycle!
As for you lining question- I did patches for my FET but not lupron. However, my lining was the thickest it's ever been that I know of today- 10.75. I thought I was usually around a 7 or 8 but my RE doesn't always tell me the number, just that it "looks good." Fx that August is your month!
