Ping Pong delivery

Good afternoon ladies

I had a long night On 7/14/2013

I delivered a 9 pound boy without pain medications no C-section required

330pm started having contractions were irregular so I put children down for a nap then I took a short nap woke up to strong regular contractions so I called my husband cell he never answered call my friend Sakina and she called her husband and he got a hold of dispatch to track down my husband ( they both work for same company)

I started calling people I know who are my so called friends to see if they could give me a ride to hospital and everyone was too busy , shows who your true friends are , I would drop everything in a heart beat to take a friend to the hospital. Pain got worse contraction went from 10 minutes apart to 3 minutes apart in like 30 minutes so I called 911 and was on phone with dispatcher she asked me to get on all 4's and children decide to climb on my back fire and ambulance arrive and I tell my 3 1/2 year old  to open door and she does the apartment fills up with people there must have been 10 or so get children in and strapped down and I'm loaded in last we are driving to hospital and my daughter is telling the drive to slow down don't run red lights or cops will give you ticket she's getting a bit upset so I tell her it's ok they have special lights and a siren which tell cops it is ok for them to speed then she tells the driver drive faster mommy's in pain she's having a baby and it's coming out her whoo whoo  she needs a doctor and medication get to hospital and go straight to l&d whole time contractions are getting stronger and closer together   I am in pain and screaming for pain medication everyone is asking me the same questions over and over I am 10 c and they are telling me to push the baby out so I have to lay down on my back at this point I am on hands and knees yelling for pain medication and making angry animal noises I am in so much pain one nurse there had the nerve to tell me the pain wasn't that bad , its a good thing there was nothing for me to throw at her because I would have I yelled at her to shut up and mind her own business one nurse there had enough sense to look me in the eye and talked smoothly to calm me down she said I know it hurts but you can do this now push that baby out 3 pushes later baby is out and laying on my chest and I am crying shaking and in cold sweats and hot flashes all at once finally got some pain medication better late then never . Baby nurses and falls asleep , I get head ache from hell  and here it is the next day and I'm tired will waiting to get a tubal so also starving get the news not able to have tubal because of heart issues so now I'm upset and starving order food finally then get in shower after I eat husband goes home with children and I'm alone in room I am upset and bawling so my nurse sends in a social worker to talk to me I don't want to talk I just want to be left alone and have a good cry did get a bit of sleep

Well congrats on having your baby and glad you were able to nurse! But seriously, your post was so hard to get through! It's just one long sentence....for goodness sakes please use punctuation next time!

Really who made you the punctuation police, the lady just had a baby and could be mobile bumping. When you have more the 18 post then you can request better punctuation.

To the Op congrats on the baby, your dd is too cute lol, I use to be an EMT I would have gotten a laugh out of that little side seat driver.

  • Congrats! If a nurse told me it wasn't that painful I would have some choice words for her.
