Tonight is the Night!

DD is going in her twin mattress on the floor.  We've been reading books on her big girl bed for awhile now and she's been showing signs more often now that she wants to stay there for bed time. I put the video monitor back up so we can see what she's up too. Now I can't decide on whether or not to tell her to get back to bed through the monitor if she gets out. She'll either think of it as a game or think that mommy is everwhere. Muaaaahhhh.

    Oh lord, good luck. Give us an update when you have one-- DS's bed just arrived, he will be going in it probably this weekend!

    She's been down for an hour and a half and has sat up a few times but that's it so far. She usually falls asleep about now830 our time so fingers crossed. I'll give another update in the morning.

    Night 1 went great! She stayed in bed and went to sleep. DH checked on her at 10 and she was asleep in her bed. When I checked on her this morning, she was asleep on the floor by her crib. I put her back in bed and now she's up talking in her bed. We'll see how long she sleeps in but I think we can call night number 1 a success. ;

    She's been doing great. We took the crib down on Sunday and she bite through her last binky Monday night so we also have gotten rid of the bink. I think the excitement of the new bed helped with that. Tomorrow will be the first nap in the new bed without the bink so hopefully all goes well.
