* JULY FIREFLIES CHECK-IN *

Hello ladies, this is my very first check-in! Still trying to get up to speed on all the lingo, lol.

Big hugs to everyone still struggling and congrats to all that are BFP. DH and I are in IVF cycle #1, day 4 of stims. ER has me on a cocktail of lupron, menopur, and follistim. Had my early u/s this afternoon and doc could already see 13 follies. I go back Monday for monitoring and hope to have ER late next week or early the next, followed by ET 3-6 days later.

Only my parents and a few close friends know about our decision to go ahead with IVF. DH and I are a bit private on the TTC front around most people. We didn't originally plan on TTC and we don't want to keep answering the, "what made you change your mind" line of questioning to our overly prying families. So here I am. It's nice to know I'm not alone. All of your stories have touched me and I wish everyone success.

QOTD: My 3 wishes... 1) to have toned thighs. 2) to win the 10k a week for life scratch off lotto game so I can take financially care of my family. 3) to have 2 healthy children

Had my baseline this morning. I start my bravelle and menopur tonight. She said she could see 7 follies on one side and 5 on the other! I go in Monday for another appointment.
On another note as I was getting in my car at 8:30 in the morning to drive my 12 hours there was a firefly on the handle!!!!!!!!!!!
If I could have three wishes it would be more money! Health for my family! My family to move to VA with me.

Hooray for having the baseline out of the way!

I'm all triggered up! Er is tomorrow, we need to be there at 9 central time. I've had all kinds if panic attacks since yesterday. I'm blaming my more than doubled e2 level. Were looking at around 11 follies for tomorrow. Now if I could just get insurance on the ball for ivig I'd be a happy woman. Qotd: hmm. Thats tough. I'd say money so we can pay off our debt and have some savings, to lose the remaining 40 to 50 lbs I still need to lose with the ability to keep it off, and mental clarity. I swear sometimes I'm my own worst enemy.

Ahhhh yay! I have everything crossed for good things tomorrow!

Tomorrow is beta day! I broke down and used uber cheap HPT yesterday late afternoon and got a faint positive. Could be that I've been giving myself HCG injections, last one was Tuesday am. Tomorrow we'll know for sure! Also, have some sort of mass in the middle of my stomach just below belly button, waiting for dr to call back about that. QOTD: to have all family all in one state, cure for cancers, and world peace.... LOL, no, really, can't think of 3rd thing right now! I'm so not an out of the box person!

Ahhhhhh! FX that the second line gets darker and you have a great # tomorrow!

Fert report just came in. 6 retrieved 3 fertilized with Icsi Praying those 3 hang in there and will find out tomorrow weather we will be a 3 or 5dt. Soooo extremely nervous. I really want them all to make it but especially want two perfect embies to transfer. The anxiety is killing me

FX for lots of growing and dividing cells!

Well ladies I am super excited today!!! We got the call from our office, out of the 17 eggs retrieved, 15 were mature and 13 are fertilized!!!! I am hoping this is a good sign for things to come!

Hi fireflies, I am currently 4dp5dt and it seems like all I do is read about ivf!!! Trying not to over analyze everything I feel. Beta date is 7/24 and I don't think I'll poas before then. QOTD:: 1. An awesome job 2. Lots of 3. For my family to stay as close as we are today.

It's hard to not over analyze. Hoping these next few days move quickly!

I'm all late, sorry ladies,

Update: had a great transfer yesterday.1b and a 2b were transferred, with 2 more awesome blasts were frozen. We found out today the other 4 that were still growing were not blasts even today, so they will not freeze those.I was sad, had a moment for my homies that didn't make it, but thank God for the 2 rock stars in me and 2 frozen.

I want to hug those that have experienced bfn,loss, and cancellation.This road is not easy, and only the bravest, strongest, and most wonderful ladies have gotten me through those times when you feel the air out of your body.hang in there, regroup live life! Here for you!

To those with good news yaay, hoping I can finally join you, after a year of ivf....crazy right!

My wishes would be, financially no worries for myself,and those closely connected to me, health for those connected to me, and world peace, not even kidding

We got our second beta confirming a rise in #'s and I am scheduled for a first ultrasound and repeat b/w on the 26th. I hope it's ok if I continue following you girls throughout this month- I can't wait to see all the BFP's that I pray are coming for you all!

QOTD: If I had three wishes I would wish to live in a fully restored, completely paid for 5,000sqft 1920's house in the city near my family, a steady and reliable income of at least $5,000/month for the rest of our lives (no mortgage if the house is paid for!), and....a paid for and always fueled private jet with experienced pilot at my beckon call.

Hi ladies,
I'm hanging in there during this 2WW. 5dp3dt. I've had some cramping and heartburn, but that's probably from my meds. I did have a lot of tightness into stomach yesterday, it was wicked tight, not sure what that was all about. Trying to stay hopeful!
GL to all the ladies testing in the next couple days!

QOTD: I would wish for health for my family, money and a bakery for my mom and I to do our cake business out of.

Donor's ER was today, they got 37 eggs!!! They have told me when they get that many eggs a larger percentage won't mature but that's still great. Now I just need to wait for ET!

I went Wednesday for an U/S and blood work. After 4 days on stims I have 15 follicles all between 10-11 mm and my lining was at 10mm and triple striped. After doing a little research, since this is my first IVF, I think that means everything is progressing well:) I added Ganirelix to my list of injections tonight and go back Saturday for another U/S. Up until yesterday I wasn't having any side effects, but now pretty bloated:( QOTD: My first wish would be for health for myself and family. My second wish would be for financial wealth. My third wish would be start a foundation for teen parents to help them continue their education. I currently work on a college campus helping support student parents, while they further their education. It is something I am very passionate about and would love to be able to do more.

So my Trigger got pushed back one day to let a bunch of little follies catch up, so I triggered last night and my ER is tomorrow. My ovaries feel huge and I have constant headaches; I'm pretty uncomfortable and ready to do this! My ET will be Monday or Wednesday. Starting today I have 10 days off work, so my plan is to relax, stay positive, and focus on making a baby!

Still stimming. Looks like I might have ER next Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm surprised at all my follicles, so FX there are some mature, good quality eggs in there!

Looks like we may be having ER around the same day! I go Saturday to get an exact date:)

I had my transfer yesterday and have been laying around all day. I have a question. This embryo was slower than the other two and they froze it on day 6. So I'm 1dp6d transfer?

After 7 days of stims, I had 2 follies, one on each ovary measuring 10-11mm and my E2 was 211! They upped my Gonal-f from 375 to 450 and then another 225 tomorrow morning. Had to make my 3rd order of Gonal-f today, yikes, that stuff is expensive! I got back for monitoring tomorrow as well and then hopefully I'll start the ganirelix and menopur finally. Not cancelled yet

QOTD: I would have a completely new digestive tract that would have no issues; Saturdays and Sundays off every weekend with good health for my family.

I need to move to the August Stars! AF still hasn't shown (almost a week late at this point), although the doctor thinks based on my lining and progesterone that it will happen "very soon." As soon as that happens, I'll be able to start stims the next day. I have been on estrace for almost two weeks and had a hormonal break-down this week; I'm talking sobbing for no reason to my husband, mom, RE, and nurses. It's been terrible! I was so glad when the nurses told me that this was completely normal and they had seen this with a lot of women on estrace.

QOTD: For DH to find his dream job, to have enough money to buy a nice house and be able to take good vacations, a great body without worrying about my diet!

Hugs to those who need them.

I can be moved to the 2ww list. Transfer was this morning. Glad that our only non-icsi frostie survived the thaw and was transferred today. We still have 9 frosties but the rest were all icsi and we wanted to try with the more natural ones first. Lining was a 10.75 which is the thickest I've ever had. Beta on 7/29.

QOTD: 1) Be rich 2) stealing from a pp- my dog would never age! 3) health and happiness for everyone!
