Hi ladies. No updates from me just yet. Still hoping that our doctor will tell us next week that we can cycle next month. Trying to exercise and be healthy and keeping up with supplements and acupuncture.

QOTD: I loved 'The Little Mermaid' when I was younger. I'm not sure if she is a princess or not but I would pick her because she was brave and I love the sea Smile

Had a few things fall into place in the last couple days. I was able to get a coworker to change her day off so that I can have the day of my FET off (which I did not think she would because she is just one of those people). My prior approval when through for my Crinone, but the stupid insurance company approved it for one time only (aka no refills allowed). But it gets better because the incompetent pharmacy I have to use at the hospital I work at has f'ed up again. I went to pick it up and they gave me one box. I talked to the pharmacist and said my prescription was written for 60 doses, not 15. Long story short, they lost the actual paper prescription (but won't fully admit it) and are now ordering me the other three boxes. If I did my job as poorly as they do I would have been fired long ago!!!

QOTD: Hard questions! Probably Ariel. I have always lived by the coast and really don't think I could live away from the ocean. Plus, Sebastian and Flounder seem like some fun friends to have and Prince Eric isn't so bad looking himself Stick out tongue

Stimming! I'm going to a concert in Baltimore this wknd and I'm going to have to do my shots in the car in the parking lot, that should be interesting!

I think I'd be Belle, I think her prince is the most interesting....post beast

Still on BCP; email from my nurse and set up appointment for this Wednesday for baseline US and labs. This would also be more exciting except my appointment is at 715 AM on my only day off and I have a 2 hour drive. This is what my life will look like all during stims and for ER/ET. Oh well! It will all be worth it!

My favorite princess would definitely be Cinderella. I love the concept of leaving my biatch step sisters and step mother in my dust!

I am waiting to start FET no. 2. I assumed AF would have shown by now so I thought I'd be a Firefly, but looks like I will be a Shooting Star after all! I am currently at CD39 and would love a VooDoo tampon if anyone has it, lol!

I recognize quite a few of you and welcome to all the ladies cycling for the first time! I can't wait to see what this month has in store for all of us.

QOTD: I think I relate to Merida best. I was very independent in my ideas of how I was going to live my life and what I was going to do with it.

Hi ladies!

I still don't have my protocol in hand, but some of my meds got ordered yesterday. I'm still having sticker shock over the Viagra, and nightmares about smurf vag. I emailed my nurse about it, and she said there is another pharmacy about 1.5 hours away from me that has it for significantly cheaper, and it's worth the drive. So hopefully she can help me get that set up today. Everything else should be here tomorrow. Still so anxious to see this protcol on paper!

QOTD: I would be the little mermaid. It has always been my favorite disney movie!

Morning Ladies,

I have started the patches for my protocol and am already itchy from them. Ah, the joy of meds. We are ramping up pretty quickly this time around and I am just trying to hang on for the ride!

QUOTD: I think perhaps....rapunzel? I just saw it the other day and missed quite a lot of it because I was watching with a 2 year old ( i.e. let's watch 30 minutes and then run around for the rest) but I love how artsy and weird she is, plus she's a hopeless romantic. So me.

Today marks my first full week of Lupron, completed! Now I just have to wait for my period to show up and then call for my baseline blood work and ultrasound so we figure out when I start follistim.

QOTD: If I were a Disney princess, I'd probably be Ariel, since I grew up on an island around the ocean all the time, love swimming, and that movie has the best songs! I also like that Prince Eric is laid back and he has a dog...not having a dog would be a deal breaker for me! lol

That's really frustrating! At least you're able to be your own advocate and know what you need! Hopefully, you get all your meds in hand and then you can relax about that!

I can't believe you don't have your protocol yet! I hope the cheaper meds works out...at least you basically get all your meds at once, so you wont have to do that drive every week!

Not much to update today.

I'm still on BCP and my meds arrived Tuesday. I also started spotting Tuesday, which is really annoying. I start Lupron in 6 days. I feel like I'm getting close now.

ETA: I always forget to answer the QOTD. I would be Belle because she has always been my favorite princess. I liked that Belle was smart and liked to read. She's also independent and didn't fall all over the first guy that made a pass at her.

Hi ya hi ya!

AF has arrived and we go in for baseline US tomorrow!! Should start stimming between 7-9pm July 19 - which incidentally is my oldest son's 17th birthday - he was born on Friday, July 19, 1996 around 9pm....

Estimated ER day is Aug 2 and FET around Aug 5-7. Last time my schedule got shifted up 3 days and I only stimmed for 7 days. I hope I can hold out for the full 10 this time.

QOTD - I would be Belle. She loves blindly and saw the good in her beast - just like me and my DH. hehe

Hi ladies!

I had my trial transfer and hysteroscopy this morning. Everything went well, but I am always nervous when it comes to procedures. We also spoke with the doctor, and met with the NP. My plan is on CD 2 to go in for an ultrasound and blood work and start stims that day. That will probably be next tuesday or wednesday!

We are speaking with the genetic counselor on Monday. This will help us to decide about PGD. We are leaning against it because of the cost.

My med orders went in today. I cannot believe the cost! I did not consider that when looking at my OOP requirement. So expensive.

As for a disney princess, I would pick Ariel simply because it is my favorite childhood disney movie!

yay!!! After the overwhelming response to the "donating embryo" post I had, I really feel like I belong on this board, so is m so happy that i still get to be a shooting star!!

Hi, I'd love to join! I have been a July Firefly, but AF has been uncharacteristically very late, so now it looks like my stims won't start until next week (making ER/ET at the beginning of August.)

Not sure if this is IVF 2.2 or 2.3? First IVF was last year. My response was underwhelming overall and the cycle ended in a miscarriage/D&C. We tried IVF #2 in April. On day 5 of the cycle I was cancelled due to poor response. We tried again in May and I was cancelled due to an ovarian cyst. We're trying the LEAP protocol this time, so my prep has already started with estrace, and I had 3 days of antagonist meds last week. I've been a hormonal mess this week (which is not normal for me) and was glad to find out that the estrace is the likely cause for my emotional break-downs! Hopefully AF will show up soon so I can start the stims. I'm so tired of the cancellations and delays!

QOTD: I always loved Sleeping Beauty (her name, the sleeping, the dancing, etc.)

Same situation as me! Late AF, no longer a Firefly! Need that VooDoo tampon - and I've never needed it before! So frustrating!

I wills start prepping tomorrow for IVF #2. Glad to finally get moving forward with everything. We currently live in KC and will be going to CCRM in Colorado on 7/30.

Hey everyone! I'm a little late on this because I just got cancelled for my July FET and now I'm going to do a medicated FET in August. I'm really hoping that this is it for me...fingers crossed. I already added the badge and I'm really happy to be joining you all. I feel like I really "know" a lot of you and I can't wait for all of us to get going in our cycles. I hope you'll have me!

QOTD: I am tempted to say Merida from Brave. She's the new princess and she's pretty cool. Plus, I'm brave, so it's a fit.

That happened to me for my first cycle. We were supposed to go in March...started bcp in February, were on them 2 weeks and went in for baseline and found a giant cyst....had to wait it out for AF before starting..40 days, didn't start stims until April...then quick response and ended up with ER 3 days early....
That's the whole reason we are going with natural cycle this time. I think the bcp messed it up!!
