Introduction of a new name

Hey Everyone!!

Re-introduce myself. I had to change my acct info due to privacy issues. I have been off and on this board over the last year and half. I have a beautiful 10 month (has it really been that long?!?) little girl who is so much fun to be around.

My child's father has not been in her life since 12 weeks and though I struggled through the pregnancy and beyond with depression because of it, I am realizing that it is probably the best decision until he can fully get his life together. 

I have a great support system with my parents and my brother as I try to navigate this life with my child, working full time, school and dating. I see so many of you starting this journey with panic, fear, and worries for the future. While they are valid, step back and take the time to enjoy being pregnant and don't worry what the baby's father is doing (unless it is to you). They are the ones that are going to regret not being there.

    I welcome you back to the board! It's great to hear that you have such an excellent support system as well. I'm glad things are going so well for you and your daughter. That's what really matters. and, you are right: I do have panic, fear, and worries, especially as my due date is getting closer. And I spend too much time worrying about her sperm donor, when I shouldn't. He's the one missing out, not me. It's still hard though. But yes...welcome back!
