Lupron crazy!

Today is day 6 of Lupron and I hadn't really been having many side effects other than some achiness and lightning bolt headaches.

All was okay, until yesterday. I have been on a cranky rampage and I can't control myself! Everything is annoying me and I am being really snippy.

I don't know if this is the Lupron, but I had the most horrendous sleep as well...felt anxious even though I was tired and every time I dozed off, I would feel startled by my heart beating and wake up again.

Am I going crazy? Does Lupron do this?

I think it's totally normal. I didn't think I was too moody on it, but I did have some pretty bad insomnia. I am pretty sure the lack of sleep, stress of the cycle, etc caused some pretty bad mood swings! Poor DH just grinned and bared it, god bless him.

I have been on it for 10 days and I haven't been able to sleep well since I started so I think insomnia is definitely a side effect. I haven't really had mood swings yet... Well, maybe you should ask my coworkers and husband but I know others have had them while on Lupron. I did notice a huge appetite increase which I really didn't need. I can't wait to be off this stuff though.
Good luck and chalk up any rage issues to the meds!

I've been trying to lose a little weight and now I am stuffing my face because I get a little nauseous if I'm even the least bit hungry! Definitely didn't need to gain a whole bunch of weight before I even get knocked up! UGH

I've heard others refer to it as b*tch juice! It definitely made me moody and I was exhausted on it all the time. I thought I was sleeping well, but probably not. I ate worse but luckily did not suffer the headaches. I'm getting that this time with the gonal-f though...

I have gained some weight since I started treatments and I really wish I could drop it before a hopeful BFP but we can't worry about that now! It will come off once this is all over. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself...
Oh and the Lupron makes me exhausted. I forgot about that until I read the next few posts!

I totally thought I was crazy on Lupron! The office had told me it wouldnt have lots of side effects but WOW! I couldnt ever get my mind to calm down and I felt like was anxious 24/7:( Hang in there....it went away quickly after stopping the medication!!

Thanks for the responses girls! Glad I am not the only one feeling a little crazy right now! I was doing so well and then it just HIT me out of nowhere!

During my time on Lupron I had hot flashes, insomnia, and moodiness. It got better once I stopped BCP, but remained on Lupron. The hot flashes continued for a month and a half, though. That was the worst of it, though, for me. I hope you feel better just writing about it...I always did. A little vent goes a long way...

Yeah, I am glad I haven't had the hot flashes yet...that doesn't sound fun at all! And you are right about the vent. I will have to vent to my blog at some point, but I still think dh is going to get burned if he gets too close to this flame right now! Lol.

I think its the Lupron and very normal. It really messed with my sleep and I think that made everything worse. I'm still feeling a little on edge but things have mostly gotten better.

Glad to hear they're getting better! I have had major insomnia problems before this that JUST got settled down in the last couple months and I hate to feel like I'm going backwards.
