New to the board

So I took a big hiatus from the bump but coming back hopefully to join this board.  My son just turned 2 this past weekend and has been in EI for about 10 weeks now.

In his initial evaluation he wasn't even able to put a puzzle together and couldn't understand simple instruction.  He is doing much better now but language is still a challenge.  He'll repeat maybe a dozen words but will not speak on his own.  We do have a long way to go.

We have not seen a developmental pedi yet but I have not taken that off the table.  He goes for his 2 year well visit on Thursday and will speak to his pedi about everything then. 

 I was looking for a board I can join to be able to talk to other moms who are going through the same thing.
