Trivisol or other vitamin drops

Our pedi said that we need to start giving Maya Trivisol (vitamin A, D, E) twice daily... I went to the pharmacy today and they only had Pedia Essentials multi vitamin drops.  Not sure if these are the same thing... or if I can use these drops over the Trivisol.  Anyone know?

    I don't know, but we have the TriViSol (Enfamil TriViSol) -- we just got it at CVS. ?I had to ask where it was, though, it was hard to find.

    how come your pedi advised you to use it? DD's pedi said we could, but didn't have to.?

    I also take dd out in the sun for a few minutes everyday. ?

    She said the AAP (I think) just added it to their guidance for infants.

    I got Trivisol at Target and I had to ask the pharmacist for it (but the PolyViSol was on the shelf- go figure).

    Also, I've heard the drops stain, so keep a burp cloth nearby. ?

    I am not sure,

    But just to warn you they taste disgusting and stain. I put DD vitamins in her bottle before she eats it. She would just spit it out and stain her clothes/bibs if I squirt it in her mouth.

    Our pedi recommended the Poly Vi Sol - its brown and gets all over, I can't wait until she's taking a bottle so I can put it in her bottle, but the good news is that it comes out of clothes!
