Hi ladies!
I haven't posted lately (except for catching up the last hour LOL), so I thought I'd say hello. I hope you're all finding strength in any way possible! DH and I joined a gym after agreeing that using the elliptical and treadmill in our unfinished basement has become dull. LOL. I also signed up with a personal trainer. My first session was this past Thursday and my legs are STILL hurting! I'm supposed to go back tomorrow... I plan to tell her to work on my arms! Haha.
Wednesday will be 3 months since our loss. I have found that I have slowly had more good days than bad. I am focusing on finding a new job (something I planned to do while on maternity leave), so that has been a good way to keep my mind busy. DH and I are also planning a trip to our favorite city, Chicago, in September for our 5 year anniversary. We're also getting our new house in order after moving in back in March. We lost focus after losing Ava in April, but we're slowly getting back in the swing of things.
Do any of you ladies have any fun vacations planned? I really hope you're enjoying this summer as it's gone by so fast.
We've discussed trying again, and that has also kept me going. We might start next month. I am scared out of my mind! But I know I deeply long for a family and I know I cannot let my fears stand in my way.
I hope time has treated you all gently. Lots of hugs!!!
Jess
Re: It's been a little while...
***Siggy Warning***
Welcome back! Sounds like you are on a great track to just being healthy. I hope the trainer continues to work out and you enjoy your time there.
We just found out today that we get to go on a vacation this year (yeah!!) We thought it was going to be out of the question. So, in September we are headed to the Outer Banks.
Glad you are well!
Welcome back! It sounds like you have a lot of exciting things going on to keep you busy. I hope you are able to find a new job that you enjoy. My DH and I are planning a trip to Vegas in Oct. for my lil bro's 21st birthday! I'm excited but also nervous we are starting to try again this month and don't know how i will feel about going if we do end up being pregnant around that time.
Hi Jessica,
I'm glad you are doing well! It's great to have something to focus on, like finding a new job! And it's always good to have something to look forward to, like your vacation. It kinda takes your mind off the pain.
We are spending a week at the beach this year, and I can't wait to get out of this hot and sticky city!
