One more...the bday party I wasn't going to decorate for blah blah Bleh. Yeah well I did and then some, I can't stop myself. Sad part is its only for first bday photo opportunities. The party can suck but if I have great pictures ill be a happy girl.

Im glad you are feeling good about it. When I left my ex it felt like a 1000 pound weight was lifted off my shoulders. I could do what I wanted when I wanted and I didn't have to worry about his stupid behind. I hope everything works out for the best for you and lo.

I'm irrationally sad that I didn't take any good pictures of Cs party because I put a but load of work into it. Not Pinterest loads, but enough that I want to remember it.

I remember this with my boys they were about 2 when I started to not let them see me naked. My daughter though she was probably about 4 or 5. But now she's sees me naked, I mean we wear the same size clothes so we do a lot of closet swaping lol!

If it makes you feel better Cosette wont remember it.

DH and I are going on an overnight trip this weekend with NO kids and I don't even feel bad. I am looking forward to packing a bag and not a diaper bag and eating without having to worry about little ones. This is our first night away from DD since she was a week old and my mom kept her because I was sick.

My FFFC on this, we still haven't left Frankie with a sitter. I know we suck, im sorta ready (not really) and my husband is totally not ready. I've never seen a grown man more protective over a kid in my life. We need to get our shiiit together.

The company is paying for my flight, the extra night in the hotel, and food and beverage on the extra day.

I am also turning in my resignation when I get back on Tuesday, because I was offered a better job at a different company.

I look forward to the weekends not to spend time with the husband but, to have hlep with the kids and to have drinks. Not once EVER since having kids have I offered to be the DD or the responsible parent when we have some drinks. He travels 2 weeks out of the month and dosent miss happy hour while away. So when he is home it is MY time.

my FFFC: We have my step daughter all week, and I've pretty much used her as a personal helper all day while H is at work.

I put Evie to bed for naps, and I get her up and I feed her. But I haven't done any chasing around this week. She's done all the picking up and carrying of her. It's been amazing.
And even with all that, I'll be happy to get back to normal life tomorrow. I know H loves when she's here and he'd like her here more, but we just don't get her that often, and I'm secretly very ok with this. Unless we have her full time... i'm just fine with this arrangement.

Isn't it great? I love that Cheyenne is old enough to help with Frankie, she even loves changing diapers!

I am irrationally sad that Riley is one of the late babies on the board. By the time important things happen (birth story, birthday pics, etc.) the board is beyond over it.

Also, I've been taking Riley for walks after dinner, around 5:30ish. Even when the sun is shining I don't put sunscreen on her. I realized the other day that her legs get sunlight almost the entire walk (about 45 minutes) and they're getting tan. Mommy fail.

I think we as moms will forever be hard on ourselves for one thing or another.
Thank you. It means a lot. I guess I don't think I am a bad mom I just feel like I am failing at everything and it shouldn't be this hard. I think sleep would make things so much better. Another fffc is we are getting a cleaning lady and lawn service this week. I know stay home 5 ddays a week and only work 2 but my sanity and marriage needs it. I am excited to maybe feel in control again. I am learning I need to get help and ask for it when needed and not do everything alone.

Girl do not feel bad about that. Im home 5 days a week with 3 very capable teenagers to help clean, which they do but not to my standards. I'd kill for a cleaning lady!

Kids face. Until they're ahole 15 year olds. By 15, you've developed a pretty good sense of self.

OH ok then yeah I call my oldest and 15 year old asssholes on the reg...but when they are asssholes I let them know it. I justify it by knowing they are calling me a biitch as soon as they turn around

Heading to Maine with the 4 kids next weekend and I am irrationally jealous DH is going to have 3 nights of uninterrupted sleep. He doesn't get up at night now so it shouldn't be such a sore point for me but it is.

My H and I had a date night last night. We went out for dinner and to a movie and we kept talking about how we missed Ava. We got home just before 11 and we both snuck in her room to kiss her goodnight. Of course we woke her up but luckily she just went right back to sleep.

Lame FFFC I know, but its all I got right now.

A few days ago, we sold our old couch on Craigslist. When the guy came and picked it up, he and my H realized that they knew each other- because he was recently an inmate at the jail where my H works! I am so freaked out now that the guy knows where we live and has been in our house and knows the layout, etc. The guy was in for beating his girlfriend, so admittedly not a murderer or anything, but I am irrationally paranoid now that he is going to come get us.

Also, today is Graham's birthday, but I'm planning to go to a wine tasting with my BFF this evening.

I participated in that thread and thought calling k a jerk was harsh. I was honestly shocked at peg calling her baby fatass. That kind of stung. I dont know why, shes not my kid. It just bothered me.

I have to agree with this. I was particularly taken aback when someone mentioned that they call their LO stupid, I thought that was pretty harsh.

I guess I missed this post... but that makes me sad, too. I get that the moms love their babies to bits don't mean these words the way they sound, but I certainly hope it stops before the babies are old enough to understand and believe it about themselves. And that'll be earlier than ya think.

I feel like a SAHM failure.

EX: RTaylor's Taylor's birthday party with all the home made goodies and how hard she worked to show her daughter love that day, and then I think she works on top of that, I'm like... Whoa I suck. Same goes for StokedWifey and Bella, and a bunch of other ladies on here that arent coming to mind for because I havent had coffee yet.

I'm not crafty, I cook dinner and thats about it, I dont bake, I dont ever make pinterest projects, My house is usually clean 60% of the time, I shop a lot and dont budget really, and if given the choice to buy or make something I would probably buy it 95% of the time.

Disclaimer: I in no way judge what other SAHM's do or are doing, I'm judging myself only. I'm simply in aw of some of you wonderful full time working mommas!

After spending the last few days with my kids I seriously considered going back to work full time. I currently work part time and always thought that was the perfect mix of Work/life balance but my son has had the worst behavior lately acting out, hitting etc. Aubrey cries every time I put her down. They both follow me around whining a lot. Some days I think working is just easier and maybe daycare would do a better job teaching the kids than I do.

I absolutely feel this way some days. Like yesterday when the hellion refused to take an afternoon nap and was up for 7.5 hours just torturing me. At one point I went outside to give the dog water, she ran after me screaming and yelling. When I came back inside after the 10 seconds I was gone, she was banging on the bathroom door and crying because she thought I went to the bathroom and closed the door. Oh GOD help me.
