Yeah, I agree with loon. I think she shows some obsessive tendencies and that the spreadsheets however many years later are just to calm her obsessive needs. It seems unhealthy from what I could gather.

Why does she need all of this information still? That's what baby books are for: "First word, favorite foods, etc". I think she's obsessive and competitive with her whole "How would you grade our child?" and bashing the mother who thought she had a ballerina. Complete nonsense. She's happy, sure. I just hope her kid turns out happy, despite all of the constant tracking.

I think it's pretty odd that she's still tracking everything, but it's even weirder that she thinks it makes her a superior parent. They seem way too extreme and I bet their DD will get really annoyed with it as she grows up.

Yikes. This is what you get when competitive control freaks have a baby. And call me crazy, but I think their time would be better spent with their daughter, instead of logging data.

The same reason she started charting things, was the reason i did when J was a newborn. I started to be obsessive about it so I made myself stop. I charted his feedings [nurse or pimp. How long], sleep, and diapers. It's easy to get caught up in. Especially if you have anxiety issues like I do.
