Awhile ago, I read that a lot of you used a rock and play instead of a bassinet for your newborn before going to the crib. There seem to be a couple different knids - a bassinet one and one where the baby sits up at an angle instead of lying flat. If you used one and loved it, could you please post a link to the one that you have? I think I want to go with one of these - most likely the one where baby is up at an angle, but I want to be sure I am getting the right one that so many people recommend.
Thanks!!
Re: FP Rock and Play question
Maybe I mean rock and sleep - not play. I have confused myself.

i had never heard of it before i got my BFP, but now i hear about it all the time. it LOOKS convenient, but just wanted to know what the general consensus was.
It's called a rock N play. The bassinet one is relatively new, so I would guess that the majority of the people who used them on this board used the one that is slanted. We didn't use one, we just used the bouncer when she needed to be elevated, but I am considering getting one this time.
ETA: to add that this is the one we will most likely get. It matches our bouncer and cradle swing.

Perfect!! Thank you all so much! I was hoping that it was this one and not the bassinet type.
Just wanted to be sure.
Yes - seeing the post that they are on sale is what reminded me to ask! Thanks
ETA: I think the rock n' play (or sleep) and infant nappers/bouncers/swings are all fine for during the day shorter naps. I just worry about overnight.
Sweet -- just scored it! So glad I saw this post....I have been wanting to get a RnP for this baby from the beginning.
