sunscreen?

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Do you use sunscreen on your LO?  Most labels say not for under 6 months.  When we are outside, I keep her in the shade or covered with light blanket as much as I can. But when we go in the pool, she's not completely covered (short sleeve rashguard & swim diaper).  If you use sunscreen, what kind?  TIA!

    I've been using sunscreen on DS since 4 months.  I use Neutrogena baby sunscreen.

    I've used it once when I wasn't going to be in the shade.

    I'm outside everyday letting DS1 swim and I either have him in a completely shaded floaty or I sit in the shade.

    Pedi approved sun screen but I think it's kinda a pain getting it on a younger baby so I prefer the shade when available.

    I use Coppertone baby.  Pedi said that any baby/child sunscreen is fine.
    Welcomed our baby boy Henry on March 15, 2013 (7 weeks early!)

    I normally just keep her in the shade, but we went on vacation and were at the pool/lake out in the sun a lot, and I used Neutrogena baby sunBLOCK, as well as an Aveeno face stick.  The Aveeno was listed on this site as "low hazard" and since the Neutrogena was block not screen I chose it as well.

    We only use it when we have too. We went to England and it was hot. We were going to be outside for most of the day and with little shade. I put some on him. It is better to put some on then for them to get a sunburn.
