Hey everyone! I wanted to officially introduce myself. My name is Liz and I am a 27 year old air force wife and mommy. I have a 3 (almost 4) year old daughter and my husband and I are trying to get pregnant with our second. We have been married for almost seven years now and have never used BC. Our daughter was conceived after 9 cycles of clomid so we are familiar with IF and having medicated/monitored cycles.
I started taking clomid again last September and after 3 months took a short break due to travel and work commitments. I received a referral to a specialist in April and started seeing my RE in May. She ran the gamut of tests (bloodwork, HSG, Sono, etc.) which revealed I have PCOS (which I already knew) and multiple endometrial polyps. I had a hysteroscopic polypectomy about a week and a half ago and I am so ready to start trying again. My RE has just given me the green light for a cycle with clomid, ovidrel, and progesterone. We already know there is a deployment in our very near future and I am praying we get our BFP before then!
Anyway, that is a very brief overview of our story! I look forward to getting to know you all and hope everyone gets their BFPs soon. ![]()

Re: Official Introduction
Hi! Just wanted to say welcome -- we have a bit in common. We're about the same age (I'm 28, turning 29 at the end of the year), married for going on 7 years and I have a 3 year old daughter too. Oh -- and I have 2IF -- that's the big one!
Good luck with your cycle! It's always exciting to get the go-ahead. We were on a forced break for the past 2 months despite gearing up for our first IUI. We are in the middle of our injections week (cd 7). I go in tomorrow to see if my body is responding. I hope all that poking is working and that my stomach isn't a pin cushion for nothing! Hoping for an IUI early next week.
Hope this board provides you with information and reassurance! Good luck to you!

Welcome to the board, although I wish you didn't have a need to be here! Hopefully you will get a bfp quickly, and your stay will be short and sweet!
