Newly Pregnant - Need OB in med center

Hi all,

I am looking for  a OB in the medical center. I hear TCH Women's Pavilion in great, but all hear Texas Women's to deliver. Any suggestions on an OB and hospital to deliver?

Re: Newly Pregnant - Need OB in med center

  • I highly recommend Dr. Beard at https://completewomenscarecenter.com/.

She uses the Women's Hospital of Texas for delivery (conveniently next door). I just had my little one a few months ago and had a great experince. Both Dr. Beard and her NP Laurel were great. The Hospital was really good too. They have a one to one nurse to patient ration when you are in labor. I was induced and I had someone in the room with me at all times.

  • Through recommendations I'm using dr. Del Castillo. He delivers in memorial Hermann and has an office in the museum district. Boh my husband and I really like him a lot.

  • I just delivered with Dr. Longerot with Women's Specialist at TCH PfW. I loved her and the hospital.
  • Definitely Dr. Beard at Complete Women's Care Center.  She delivered my baby 15 weeks ago at Women's, and the whole experience was great.  Her NP Laurel was awesome as well.  They listened to every concern, gave me all the information I asked for and more, and presented every option along with it's pros and cons.
