Car accident last night - scan at 1pm today

I was going to post this last night but was too angry/annoyed/upset.
DH and I were coming home from a friends and were only 3 or 4 minutes from our house when we got in a car accident. I was driving and another car turned left in front of us and we had a pretty good collision. Neither of our cars were driveable and had to be towed away.
DH made me go get checked out at the hospital (which of course is a good thing) but it was so busy that we were there for 3 hours! I eventually had a scan and they could see LO jumping about and the Dr said he could see a hb but he's asked me to go back today to make sure there's no issues with the placenta or anything else.
The airbags didn't go off and we were wearing our seatbelts but the impact and the seatbelt cutting into my stomach and side is pretty sore already. I've had a headache since as well as pain down most of the right side of my body. Worst part is that I can't take anything other than Tylenol!
So FX that the scan this afternoon is ok and there's no issues. If anybody has any extra positive vibes that they don't need today, I'd be grateful!

Here's an anecdote that might help too: A good friend IRL was in a car accident about the same time along as you are a couple of years ago (her arm broke terribly, like bone through the skin, airbags deployed etc.), and she has a very happy and vibrant 2 year old boy now who was completely unaffected by the accident, so hang in there!

Aww, good luck hun! I'd get your OB to prescribe you pain meds that are a little stronger... there are a few that you can take that are safe.
