Hey everyone! Long time lurker, never posted but I've learned tons from all of you! Anyways, this is my first cycle on Clomid, I'm on day 2 and I went up to take my pill and found the packaging lying on the floor of my bathroom- all chewed up. All I can figure is that my dog, Tucker, somehow got into it.
I'm totally panicking because I have no idea how this could affect Tucker, but also because I don't know how I'm going to get replacement Clomid at this point. Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I be calling Poison Control for him? Can dogs get Clo rage? Because he's been acting really strange and growling at me, which he never does.
Re: I think my dog ate my Clomid...
1. I don't own a dog
2. Never taken Clomid...
Call a vet in your area.
Clo rage.... I just can't get passed that. Please call poison control for your dog.
Clo rage
This!
And if not, YES call an emergency animal hospital!

I just got it out and went to go get a glass for some water. I normally keep it in a cabinet. I didn't think he would grab it in the few seconds I was gone! I called the vet's office, but I'm waiting for a call back...
My pharmacy is closed because they're doing repairs on the building. Do you think I can go to Walmart and get a new one?
That's not funny.
A vet that is actually open?
No, not without a new prescription.

please find a different emergency number if possible, your pup could be in serious danger. As for the clomid, you are sol until you call you re in the morning.
Call the ASPCA. It's a hotline 24 hours. Do not wait on a callback.
No. Most pharmacies will not replace a Rx because of stupidity. You will need to call your RE. I'm just taking the wild guess that you're seeing an RE and not and OB.

Charcoal is to bind to toxins so they are not absorbed. It's not to induce vomiting. They'd use apomorphine or hydrogen peroxide.
Also poison control will let her know of vomiting is harmful or benificial, and if the dog needs to be seen for fluids, activated charcoal, etc...
Call an emergency vet or the ASPCA hotline... Your regular vet is sleeping... And may not get to you for a while... Stop posting the bump...

I'm taking Tucker to the emergency vet. I was going to wait until morning to hear back from my vet, but he's only a puppy and I'm worried he might get too sick. I'll update when he sees the vet.

I agree that jokes about animals eating pills is not funny.
I'm glad that you are taking your dog to be seen. I'm not sure why it took you so long to figure that out or why you didn't call the emergency vet in the first place. I hope he is ok.

Yeah, I know he is totally abnormal! When he see's me with his bandana's and head bops, he actually comes running over and "sits pretty" for me, waiting for me to put them on! Haha, I don't have any idea how I got him like this though! I have put bandana's on him since he was a puppy, but the head bops he was older for. He's patient with me I guess!

Praying he is ok. Don't wait until tomorrow, it could be too late. Good luck.
People are making jokes because it's hard to take you seriously, your poor dog ate your medication and all you seem to be worried about is finding a way to get your replacement pill.

I found DemoDoll's comment funny because I had literally just ran across that gif. I was not making fun of your dog eating pills.
In all seriousness, I'd be trying to get a hold of some vet somewhere to find out if you need to induce vomiting or if your dog needs to be taken into the ER, not worrying about your pills or posting on the internet.
BFP #2 - 9/19/13. EDD 5/21/14. Baby girl born 5/25/14.
I'm glad to hear you are taking him to the vet now. It's not worth waiting till morning. I hope the little guy is ok!
Tucker is staying overnight for monitoring but the vet is very optimistic that everything will be fine. He will likely be home tomorrow.
I'll be calling my Ob first thing in the morning to get more Clomid.
Awww! What a little diva! He clearly likes getting all dolled up and posing for pictures.
