certainly something i'm not looking forward to about weaning. we may be EP, but I still leak from time to time. I've heard it can happen for a while after :-(

Nope, some woman can "hold" it in there for years after they stop

I stopped leaking right away after I weaned from Christian. I actually hardly leak now.

I mean it's not really BAD leaking but it's kind of awkward when you have a wet spot over your nipple and only your nipple...

I would mention this to a medical professional. Something seems off.

My supply dried up in December (I had been pumping and also supplementing until then.) I haven't had any leaking since.

I still will leak sometimes and I stopped pumping at 4 weeks. So it's been nearly 10 months for me too. It's not enough to go through a bra and shirt, but when I'm just lounging around without a bra, I sometimes end up with a small cold spot and I'm like, wait...there's no way one drop of water mystically found its way directly on top of my nipple...

it's not unusual ... but if you want to try to totally dry up, there are some things you can try. My understanding is that you have to be pretty regular about it for several days. Peppermint and sage (but a lot of it- like a gallon of tea a day or something crazy like that), or the maximum does of sudafed for several days, for example. Or mention it to your ob at your next appt.
