Traveling & entertaining LO

Hey there All!  I will be going on a cross country trip in about a little more then 2 weeks to see DH's family (which we are super excited about!).  this will involve us going on a train for about 22 hours (overnight, obviously). Which I have done before in December, however now that Lucas is now super mobile, and we will be in a small confined area (actual sizes are: 3'6" x 6'8"), so kind of like a closet, with close to no crawling room.  So I figured if i bring some new toys (and/or playthings he hasn't seen in a while) he hopefully will stay entertained! The toys need to be small again due to limited space though, any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!  Also happy early 4th everybody!

    I use the fisher price apps on my phone to entertain DS when we are traveling or just out and about when I don't want to bring a whole bag of toys with me.  The apps are mostly songs with numbers, colors and shapes.  DS loves them! Some bumpies may not agree with letting him watch basically a video on my phone, but it works for us!

    Can he crawl up and down the aisles if he gets antsy? I've never been on a train so I dk if that is even an option. Also, bring lots of snacks!

    Just gave my kids a Little people set and they love it. They also have been enjoying letter blocks. I will build a tower and they knock it down. FP apps are great too. My kids also love iPods with music playing on the speaker.
