Sorry- It's hard to read past the bias in that .org website.
Take a basic microbiology course at your local community college to learn about how the immune system/antibodies work. Read up about specific vaccines (including side effects) on cdc.gov. Facts, not scare tactics nor case studies spun to be the majority outcome.
Strangely enough, I'm not seeing the FAR more numerous accounts of the children who died from polio and other infant-killing diseases that we now have vaccines for. Nobody denies that the possibilty for adverse effects exists; however, the probability of this occuring is statistically low.
This made me not want to read the sight (and i dont like vaccines)

persecuted by the medical industry and the media.
Wakefield lied about the results. How can you take that seriously?

Insert eye roll.
my grandmother who had polio would be thrilled that her great granddaughter won't have to worry about it. Nuff said. Ph. and Wakefield is responsible for the death or illness of any child whose parents believed his crap research and avoided vaccines that could have prevented their illness. (google "anti vaccine outbreak." for a couple of good examples.)
I'll trust the medical research and my research methods and data analysis training, Rather than a website with an agenda, thanks.
My doc compared it to a seatbelt. 99% of the time wearing a seat belt will benefit you but there is the tiny chance that it might hurt but you still wear it because the benefits outwiegh the risks by far! In other words, get the shots!
