FET cost

Would you mind sharing the cost of your FET's? We are 100% oop and the fresh cycle killed us. I'm praying the FET is drastically less expensive so we can get into it right away. How about meds? Is there a high cost for these too? Thanks ladies. I feel like if I can at least plan this next step, it'll keep me busy and give me something to look forward to.

Re: FET cost

My clinic's estimated cost is $3775 for FET. Here is the break down:

Kindly be advised the total cost for the FET cycle is $3,775.00. However, this fee does not include the cost for the medications; the medications are paid directly to the pharmacy.

The fees are broken down and paid to each of the following entities. The first payment is to HFI $1,750.00 for the physician fees, the second is for the lab fee of $625.00, and the last payment is for the PPSC of $1,400.

So a payment to Houston Fertility Center, Lab, and Piney Point Surgery center

  • That's doable! I did call my RE's office, so we'll see what they say. I hope it's close to this!

  • Yes, and depending on whether you do a natural cycle or a medicated cycle, the costs will differ on meds. Overall costs will be the same, because with medicated you pay more for meds and with natural you pay more for monitoring. Beacht, also wanted to add that many clinics are beginning to see patients have better success rates pregnancy following an FET instead of following a fresh, because your body doesn't have the overstimulated ovaries anymore. I hope the next cycle is it!!

I've heard this, too and I pray that it's true. I just heard from my RE (that was faster then usual) and it's only $1800 and about $300 for meds. Totally doable! I feel a little better. But, still a little bitter that we just flushed $11k down the toilet. Well, not completely. We still have 5 frosties. One of those has to be a take home baby? Right?!

Right, Right, and Right again!!! You didn't flush anything down the toilet. You gave it a great shot, and if you choose to FET right away, that will be another amazing opportunity. There is always an unlucky chance at any of this, and you have FIVE frosties waiting for you...what luck you had there! Thinking of you.
