Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

30lbs and 31 inches still in PNP?

DD is 22 months and will be 23 when we travel to NH for a 4 nights in August. She still uses the PNP for naps at daycare but hasn't slept overnight in one since last summer.  I'm a bit nervous about her ability to sleep soundly overnight while we're away. I don't think she is ready for the other options (mattress on the floor, inflatable mattress and hasn't slept with us since she was very tiny though that is a last resort on this trip since there are two bedrooms with full beds.

Any reassurance welcome :)

Re: 30lbs and 31 inches still in PNP?

  • My DD sleeps in one weekly. She is very small at 27 3/4 inches but even if she was much longer she would have tons of room still. They curl up and get in al kinds of crazy positions. But even if your DD stretches all the way out it should be fine.

  • My son is 2.5yo, 28lbs, 38in and slept in a pnp a few weeks ago when we were out of town.  It was the best option and even though he can climb out he understood that was his bed and didn't make a big fuss.  But he often sleeps on his belly with his knees tucked under him so the size wasn't an issue.
