I chopped my hair off

I just couldn't stand my thinning, dry, straggly post-partum hair anymore.  So I had it all chopped off yesterday.  I think I like it, and it's wonderful in our bazzillion degree weather.  I'll grow it back out again once my hair grows in again.

As I told my hair dresser, now LO can have my short hairs falling out all over her instead of my longer hairs.  So gross finding my long hair stuck to LOs cheek or whatever!

    I did the same thing this weekend.. Only cried for a few hours after... :/

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    Me too! I love it. The only weird thing is I keep using way too much shampoo.

    I keep thinking I need too, but I cannot pull the trigger! But I really need too...it will grow out again...right?!?

    I have a really round face, so while short hair is tempting, I know I would look terrible.  On the plus side, I think my hair loss is starting to let up! I'm going to have long hair with a crew cut growing up underneath.

    I was tempted but my hair loss is finally starting to settle down.  Now it's back to my prepreg shedding levels.

    I cut a bit off, not much though. And I have noticed the hair loss getting better around 5.5/6 months. My poor husband and him having to unclog the shower.... :-/

    I did this months ago -- after the PP hair loss for two straight months was getting out of control. I am totally keeping it short - I don't have time to do anything with long hair. It's lucky to get washed these days. :)
    TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF 
    4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!

    November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d

    I seriously considered doing the same this morning after DD soaked the bottom half of my hair in spit-up, right before we were getting ready to leave.

    Good for you! I'm so close to doing it too. I love my hair long but what's the point when I'm forced to wear it up all the time?

    I'm doing the same! I actually had an appt today and had to cancel so I'm hoping over the long weekend!

    Ooooh, I'm jealous!  I've been having fantasies of chopping mine off, too. However, my hair takes a ridiculously long time to grow so I have to restrain myself.

    Cut mine off too, and loooove it!! It's super easy to do, and my "bad hair days" now look better than what I was doing before... throwing it up in a ponytail!!
