I read a blog about this little girl while I was pregnant and am basically going to anchor everything that could possibly tip to the nearest wall. We are actually in the process of doing this since we'll have a walker in the near future, but it will definitely be done in B's room when he's out of the crib. If you haven't considered anchoring furniture, read this.

I read this back when I was pregnant and it scared the shizz out of me. So terribly sad. I fully plan to anchor K's furniture!! Honestly, I might even remove a lot of it. His closet fits all of his clothes and stuff and as soon as we don't need the changing table anymore I'm moving it out. I plan to put in a little table and chairs and have wall shelves or bins for toys and books because I am paranoid that, even with the furniture anchored, something might happen.

And I just bawled my eyes out. My H came and took my phone away and hugged me because he said I needed a break. I am freaking anchoring everything!!!

I read this a long time ago, and cried and cried and cried.

I just read it again, and cried and cried and cried. It is so incredibly sad. I have a 3 year old right now, so it especially hit home for me this time.
